I stay very active in my community both programming (anything computer geek related), my church as an Usher along with spending time with friends/mentor, volunteering and physical training with my group and coaches. I love what I do and feel very blessed to be where I'm at with a little step-brother and step-sister close on my heels. I enjoy working but can possibly be accused of being a workaholic as I find that working hard yields to playing hard. Now that I've finished school I started competing in races most recently a 60 mile bike race, Sprint tri, a 22K trail run while starting a long time goal of completing a full Ironman Triathlon as a racer (after crewing for Ironman along with my training/conditioning) all before I start in a graduate degree possibly online at Colorado State CS. I'll be competing with my two Aunt's for the Kansas City Breast Cancer Awareness Triathlon held on July 15, 2012. For fun I run, bike, swim, rock climb, hike, surf, along with snowboarding/skiing, mobile development, attend and stay active in ASU Engineering clubs and I love to read.
I'm looking for a strong individual to be my best friend and share life's joys with. Someone to start a life with over the next few years. Preferably intelligent, gets along with my friends, supports my career and will attend church services.

About me…Well my name is Lindsey and I am a true AZ Native. I was born in Flagstaff raised in the NE part of the state and moved to the valley about 7 years ago. I attended NAU and I have a BS in International Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management. After graduation and working in my field of study I soon realized that I could NOT fire people (4 months in to the job). That is a much needed skill that I lacked in the world of business. So I went back to school to become a teacher, 4th generation teacher (if you cannot beat them join them right?). I really enjoy my career and have earned a M.ED in Early Childhood Special Education with a focus in Autism. I work for Mesa Public Schools and cannot believe I have been doing so for 6.5 years! Where oh where does the time go?
My friends all tell me I am a great catch…I guess I can agree. I am independent; own my home and my vehicle. I have a good job and I am pretty well educated. I am easy to get along with. I love to laugh and have a good time. I am a great cook and I keep my house and yard clean…just a little FYI. ;) I am a tad bit shy…at first.
I have traveled. I really enjoy doing so and I keep my passport just in case I ever decide to take a random trip. I have been to Europe and the UK. I really enjoyed Scotland it was by far my favorite country (pretty sad seeing how I am of Irish decent).
