I usually say I'm from Boston but I am from a very small town in New Hampshire. Unlike the normal complacent New Englander, I was lucky enough to do a lot of traveling and got to see what the rest of the country has to offer. I was a full time musician for 5 years playing guitar in a rock band and toured all of the US and Canada for about 8-9 months our of every year. I had loads of fun and great times with my best friends but the road takes a toll, that's for sure. I am happy to be living a life with more of a routine but would never give any of those years back. I am not ignorant enough to think I have seen all there is to see, but learned a lot and got to meet some amazing people along the way. There was always something about the west coast in particular that seemed like I belonged. Being a serious golfer who has a fear for sharks, Arizona seemed like the perfect fit. Last August I packed up the car and made the journey. It took a lot of adjusting but I am now happier than I have been in years and really feel like I know who I am and what I want.
As for what I am looking for, it's nothing tricky. I just want to meet someone who is mature and shares some of the same values and interests as I do. Someone who would rather talk or watch a movie than be seen at the trendiest bar or night club. I am a very caring and sensitive guy who thrives on sarcasm and is not afraid to say what is on his mind. I have never really done the whole dating thing either online or in real life but am now willing to give it a go.
