I take care of myself and am attracted to someone who takes care of himself too, mentally and physically - it's a must as is attraction. I'm down with xtra tuffs and jeans, or dressing up - I admit it, some days style IS important to me. And, since this is all about being honest about what we are seeking - I like someone who knows how to be a gentleman too, and understands balance and that it's still cool to open my door or walk me to my car. Also important: I have a soft spot for skin art and I have a few tattoos. And I think a man who likes to look nice and READS is super SEXY. ;) And I certainly won't fault you if you like to shop a lil. You have to have some fashion/style sense and you know how to rock both carhartts AND 7 for all mankind jeans. Ha. But seriously.
You ask: why online matchmaking? Well, it's like this: I've finally figured out that when it comes to love, both peeps have to be looking in the same direction. And, well, I'm looking for that man gets me and my "list" and my direction - I'm seeking a down to earth, open-minded, fun, motivated, physically-fit individual. You have your own thing going on in life too and love what you do. You like: kiddos; dogs; LOTS of different music and movie genres (even the occasional sub-titled flick); baseball; the outdoors; hopefully skiing; road trips (and doesn't mind singing along to music along the way); dancing (or at least is comfortable with me dancing if we're out and about checking out music); yoga/working out and and are motivated to stay healthy and fit. You believe in recycling and respect the enviroment. You're cool with my possibly wanting another tattoo down the road and live a little on the alternative side of life. And perhaps most important, you've already come to realize (via all of the crazy, lovely lessons life brings us) that relationships aren't meant to make life more difficult; rather, it's all about working together to make it a happier existence for all involved. You trust yourself and know how to trust others. And, I haven't met you yet, but I know you're close by. Things's are good in my world and I feel like now is the time to be open to finding my man, so to speak. I have my best girl-friend and I'm hoping to find my best guy-friend. The thought of that makes me smile...

Wow, that was a lot of sharing and actually a little easier than I thought. Did I mention that I really appreciate wit? Yes, even dry wit and that I LOVE to laugh. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors with my dog. I am a giver, that sees the good in people. I consider myself a huge geek.........as I love Star Trek! I also believe in Bob Marley's philosophy to just LOVE. It is the solution to all that is wrong with the world. I have many blessings in life and count them regularly.I can not spell my way out of a paper bag!!:) I not entirely HWP but not obese. I will never stop working at being a healthier body....My biggest accomplishments are my sons and the joy I get when I get to the top of a mountain! There is no better thrill........well maybe winning a big hand in poker too! My social life is fairly small, as I'm busy with poker, hiking and kids. I try to spend time outdoors every day even if it's just to walk the the dog around the block.......but sometimes,just sometimes, in the dead of winter I will have a totally lazy day.
