Date men and women from Chelsea, United States. On the weekends I enjoy going to the Pepperplace Market in Birmingham as well as estate sales. The Pepperplace Market is very interesting and I look forward to going back each week. I have been going to estate sales for years and enjoy buying and hunting for those cool and unique things that make a house a home.
I will be looking for someone that enjoys getting out on the weekend and venturing to estate sales, outdoor events like the Farmers Market or going to hear live music and a coffee shop or restaurant. I would like to meet someone that loves gardening and working outside. I am not much of a TV watcher and prefer to engage in good conversations, going places, and doing different things. I am not a person like likes routine. Doing the same things every day and night is quite boring. I do watch some TV and like to go to movies but I am not parked in front of a TV every night. It's just not me.
I love cooking and enjoy the satisfaction of walking out to my backyard and picking some fresh vegetables and cooking them. I am looking for a companion that will enjoy cooking a meal together, gardening, and eating healthy. For the most part, I have left the Fast Food joints behind and am trying to take better care of this 50 plus year old body. I enjoy working out and would love to meet someone that enjoys the same. I envy those couples I see at the gym working out together and wish I had a companion to do the same.
I am in the final stages of a divorce. I have been separated for a year and a half. I have dealt with all the emotions that follow the break up of a long marriage. I am so ready to move on and enter this strange new world of dating again. But....I will finish the divorce first, and then I will post pics. Just taking a peek into this crazy phase of my life. I am excited and looking forward to finding my best friend. I have learned many lessons during this separation. Met new friends, and learned that there is hope. There are beautiful people out there searching for the same dream. I can't wait.
Meet people from Chelsea, United States. I read a lot of profiles that men are looking for their best friend. Are you really? Are you ready to be friends? or are you ready to be in a relationship and have much much more? Friends I got - I'm looking for head over heels - I love my best friend, but I'm not head over heels in love with her. Not my style . . . :-)!
My match should be honest, honest, honest, funny and compassionate, with a sense of adventure. Did I say honest? I am not looking for a one-night stand, so please move on if that's what you're all about. I have a great sense of humor - if you can make me laugh you are da bomb - love family and friends. My son is the most important thing in my life, but I am not looking for a new dad for him. Actually, I'm not really looking for a new husband, but someone who can eventually carry on a long-term relationship with or without marriage. I don't know how you can get to really know someone in a date or two, so if you are a serial dater (and I don't mean Cheerios) or looking for a one-night-stand, I'm probably not your type.
Looks are subjective, depending on your personality. If you care enough about yourself to take care of yourself, then I think you will be able to take care of someone special in your life, too. Self-esteem and confidence are very important.
I am a huge tennis buff. I used to play a lot, but had to give it up recently. I now work out two to three days a week. Once I get into the swing of the school year, I'm going to make it 5x a week.
I am looking for a Christian man, who enjoys dining out, movies, cooking at home, working in the yard, pets, traveling, and/or watching sports on TV/in person. If you are on a team, I'd go and be your biggest cheerleader. I love to be outdoors, but am not a hiker or camper.
