We tried but no matter what we did, things didn’t work out. We’ve learned some things that we really need in relationships and also learned from our mistakes. . I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by attaching to my name a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure that you have already found this about two hundred times in all the other profiles. I believe that words are cheap, but actions speak much louder, so why bother? I have little patience for games, flakes and fake people. So how do you just say that I’m a nice guy looking to share my life with someone? I guess that would do it. I’ve been divorced for quite awhile now, my child is grown and on their own most of the time and I am looking to get back out there and meet some good people. Friendship is not at all out of the question. It's welcomed.
People say I am quiet, sometimes too quiet until they get to know me but then they can’t get me to shut up. I enjoy heading out and exploring new places and revisiting old ones. Movies-just about anything but horror movies (I kind of get scared when i watch them).

. Hello, I hope what follows will give you some feeling of me and what I would like to find. I do not like writing much and it is the least of my talents so I think you will find I am a whole lot better in person. What I will say and I think most people who know me would agree with is that I am a good man, independent, freethinking, humorous, mostly laid back, physically active, honest, monogamous, will go out of my way for a true friend, and I am always trying to step into the future with a positive attitude. I have had a lot of experiences through life and whether there were good or bad they made me what I am; I like who I am and do not think of the past with thoughts of regrets. What I enjoy most in life at this point is good people, good conversation, good food, good wine, a good espresso or latte, and seeing new places whether it be close or far. I love animals and the past year or so I have been without any for the first time in a long time. I also love being outdoors; the mountains, the beach, or anywhere in-between, even the city is better when I am outdoors. I do own a suit mostly used for weddings and funerals and a couple of sports coats for dressing up a little for evenings out, but for the most part I live in shorts and t-shirts in the heat and blue jeans and Ugg boots in the cold and have for as long as I can remember. I have spent the majority of life living above 8000 feet in elevation but I now live in the middle of the city; life is interesting! I have been working since I was 13, living on my own since I was 17, and I put myself through college at night. I have worked in the trades all my life and grew up in a family construction business so I have had enough of hanging with the guys and watching them puff there chest out so if you are looking the hunk and �man’s man’ with something to prove I am not the one but you probably figured that from my pictures. I took care of each of my parents in their final years and feel family is very important but the only family I have left is distant family that I do not know but that is part of life and they are still with me just differently. I am not very materialistic I just like the deeper things in life which the economy cannot affect as much.
As far as whom I am looking for it is someone who can look past all the adjectives and verbiage in a profile and see something deeper. I find that a lot of people are a mile wide but they are only ankle deep.
