I only go for jobs in the food and hospitality industry and am starting culinary school at the end of July. In addition to cooking, I love to get outdoors, go hiking, camping, fishing, arching, shooting and really anything else I can manage. However, on a cold winter day I do enjoy curling up with a new book and a hot drink. I have read more books than a small library contains, and I have done it in the pursuit of inspiration and additional knowledge. I can never stop learning or applying the knowledge I have gained. I have actually been seen doing calculus for fun when work is slow. The idea of just sitting around depresses me and when it is the only option left, I try my best to at least stimulate my mind.
Life would be quite dull without music. Music is one of the greatest forms of expression and it introduces one to great people. I enjoy nearly all types of music but there are artists in all genres that I cannot stand. I lean towards rock but it is far from my only choice.
Life is too short to take everything seriously, but neither should one care about nothing. Joke, laugh, go on a drive all night long for the sake of exploration. Get a tattoo that has meaning, get a piercing because it looks great, stay up all night having fun with friends but still be on time for work the next day. This is how I like to live my life.
I hate saying that I am 18 because there is now this stigma that being this young must automatically that you're immature. I grew out of the "high school mentality" before the end of freshman year. I do not care whether or not she slept with him, or if your parents took away your phone because you were being irresponsible. I take responsibility for all of my actions. I have made quite a few mistakes and I have fully understood the repercussions those actions and I matured immensely because of it. I surround myself with people that are at least two to three years older than myself for they have managed to grow out high school. However, some of the best people I've met and had the best conversations with have been the elderly. I love to sit down on a break at work and find the 65 year old couple that always comes in after their shifts end and talk about anything and everything.
About my ideal match:
Is there such a thing as ideal? To assume that there is someone that fits every criteria that you would like to have and that you fit their's is insane. One must always make exceptions. However, some of my list are thus:
I like women that have grown up a bit. Not necessarily age wise, but that tends to be the case.
Women that are not afraid to get their hands dirty but still like to get dressed up. Jeans and boots at noon, dress and heels by dinner.
Intellect. That is actually my firm, no exceptions, line. If you do not understand the proper use of the English language, then move on.
Being spontaneous but able to make plans as well. I hate having to make all of the decisions all of the time. I would enjoy being able to make plans together or just being told I have 20 minutes to get dressed and ready for whatever they fancy that day.
Attraction. It would be nice to say that I don't care how you look, but that would be a lie. Attraction is a key to a relationship, but this does not mean that I find Barbie beautiful. I like a girl that has muscle, that has an athletic build, or even just a good body shape.
