Date someone special from United States. i lived in new orleans and evacuated to longmont with my brother and sister about a 4 years ago. i still don't know alot about colorado other than i feel like a kid when i get into the mountains and start climbing something or hiking. i love to get out and ride my bike, but its getting cold out there and i'm a southern boy. this is how green i am...i'm still trying to figure out this whole layering of clothing thing.....we don't do that in new orleans unless we're trying to sweat off a few pounds. i love being outside, i want to explore this area, i'm planning on staying here in colorado but am open to relocating within the state. i just moved to longmont so i have no strong attachment to the city yet other than my brother and sister. in new orleans i was a massage therapist, i'm also a guitar player and instructor. i had just started a conventional day job when along comes hurricane katrina, she huffed and she puffed and she blew my work buildings down.....hehehe......well sufffice it to say now i have a new lease on life at 40 yrs old, i'm teaching music again and loving it, and i'm going to get myself back into school. i'm excited about my new direction. i want someone to share in all this. i want to meet new people, i'm somewhat of an introvert, thats why i'm at this website. i'm not a big party guy but i do like to get out and see live music, movies, plays, art. i'm really excited about my future now. i want to meet people, make some friends and find someone to share all these new expierences with, am i looking for a wife? a girlfriend? a lover? a best friend? an aquaintance?.....is it ok if i say that i'm looking to live life and share life? i like to think and have been told on occasion that i'm fairly simple in a good way. i tend not to sweat the small things. there are enough big things in this world to stress us out that i don't believe arguing about dish cleaning techniques are worth the breath. i've learned over the last 10 years that i'm a mentally and emotionally strong man. i'm very easy going and offen passive about things, but, when i talk to somebody i look them in the eye and i TALK to them. i am sincere when i speak and am not all that great at small talk or mingling at crowded parties. i still don't know much about the area, HELP, i could use someone to explore the area with. i really don't know very many people up here so i 'm looking for friends, hitting partners (tennis), hiking partners, riding partners as well. just email me and say hi, and we'll start from there....i look forward to meeting you!....
