Too short to worry about very much besides the well being and growth of my kids into healthy well adjusted contributing adults. Too short to stress the small stuff. When/if the right person comes along I truly believe you both know because it's mutual. It may take some nurturing but you know. I am very adaptable and feel just as comfortable in a Tux at a formal function,enjoying a weekend in New York attending the theatre, museums and fine dining or ripping it up on the mountain or with a pack and canoe on my back somewhere in the wilderness. I have always been very active and fit. I played many sports in high school and rowed in college. I have always kept in shape and I think keeping in shape and taking care of oneself for your partner is not superficial I think it is very romantic.
My greatest passions besides my kids are travel, cycling, golf and skiing. I love cycling, golfing and/or skiiing because they are activities that can put you in such spectacular natural beauty either in the mountains or by the ocean, two of my favorite places to be. Hitting a bump run and having your body totally relaxed and just instinctively react to each bump or creating a mental image of a golf shot and executing it are like mind/body spiritual experiences for me. While being a golfer and/or skier are a big plus it may be that you are just not one of those yet. I also love to learn and do new things. I'm totally psyched to improve my surfing skills with moving to California. I love new challenges. My attitude is that I would try almost anything once. I love being active including tennis, hockey (those Canadian roots eh!), hiking, scuba diving, etc. Just about any sport or outdoor activity and I'm up for it. I love to dance and while enthusiasm gets some points I think women who are good dancers are so hot!
WHO I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING: Someone who is attractive (to me), fit, fun, smart, curious, articulate, kind, honest, thoughtful, adventurous, open minded, youthful, socially aware.
