I am not a native Coloradan. I moved here from Michigan where I lived in 9 different cities, 5 of which were during my school years. Since leaving MI I've lived in CO moved to MN and back to CO 5 years ago.
I am starting to do more outside in terms of hiking, biking and jogging. My daughter and I are running 5 K's and we hope to do a 10 K by the end of the summer. I have an adventurous streak in me and would love to have someone to do new and exciting things; skydiving and white water rafting to name a few. I enjoy skiing in the winter and would love to go snowmobiling in the mountains. I enjoy going to the park to my fly kite which is 5 sq meter and has pulled me off the ground once or twice. I also enjoy going to the park to simply throw a Frisbee or football or ride my mountain board. I also enjoy photography. To date my photos have been centered on my children but I have recently started working on my technique for some nature shots.
With my divorce quickly approaching, I would love to start traveling again. I have been to Europe and loved it. I was able to visit locations from Sweden to Italy. Copenhagen, Stockholm and Salzburg were some of my favorite places. I would love to go back and see Poland, Russia and England. An Alaskan cruise and a trip to Belize or Aruba would be a blast also.
I enjoy spending a lot of time with my kids. My oldest is a junior in high school and is a typical 17 year old with an attitude. But she is a good kid. My younger child is a 7th grader and a competitive gymnast.
I am not a big planner and generally do things spur of the moment. I like to be surprised and generally willing to try anything at least once. I'm looking for someone who can embrace this mindset and enjoy life in the moment.
