Update-
I'm from TX and have lived here in Colorado for 15 years and love it. My friends say I'm fun, have a good smile, love to make people laugh and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I enjoy getting together with friends, either out on the town or home grilling and hanging on the deck/patio. I'm pretty easy going and can very easily go with the flow or lead the charge. I usually end up leading the charge. I'm pretty handy too...owned my own contracting business and flipped old homes when the market was better. Not too many calls to Mr Handyman.
Im not a player...never was and probably too old to start now. However, I am a very outgoing person and like social events and meeting new people. I can go into any setting and be comfortable striking up a conversation with just about anyone. I don't think that makes me a player...maybe a bit of a social butterfly??? I've never been accused of being a wall flower...
Baggage??? I was married for a long time and have a beautiful 16 year old daughter, she's everything to me....I get along with her mother just fine....we didn't fight when married we don't fight now.
Hobbies - I play golf or at least attempt it, I like hiking, softball/baseball, just about anything happening outdoors. I've always been very athletic and like to play or attempt most things. I'm not a gym rat, I played sports through college and into my thirties, I do stay busy and try to stay fit. I love microbrews and make my own beer, pretty good from what I'm told. I might even start making wine for the right person :)
I travel a lot and thought this might be a way to meet someone new that likes to get together for dinner, a night out, hit the mtns for a hike, the park, just getting out with someone and sharing an afternoon or evening together having some laughs and getting to know each other. I don't know where anything will lead but you'll never get there if you don't at least give it a try...if all I gain is a new friend to spend time with so be it...life is too short not to enjoy it and share it with someone.... Someone that knows that there is more to life than 9 to 5, that the most important things in life are sometimes the most simple.

I've been a firefighter/paramedic for 20 years and my job schedule gives me a lot of time off in a month so we like to get away as often as possible and go camping or see museums.
