I'm pretty laid back, I don't go crazy obsessing over things. I've been known to turn a phrase or two. Laughing is perhaps my favorite past time. I'll get more serious about myself and what I'm looking for farther down but don't let that scare you, I've been told I'm funny and easy to be around.
I'm not a party-er. I don't do drugs, I don't drink, and I don't smoke. I don't have anything against people who do, I just don't think those activities would be beneficial to me and what I want to accomplish. With that being said I'm not a shut in either. I like to go out and go places.
When I'm out in public I'm usually pretty quiet, but when I'm with my friends I'll do whatever I can to make them laugh. One of my favorite times was when I made my buddy shoot ice tea of of his nose. I'll also usually go out of my way to do something for a friend or an acquaintance.
I'm really into music. I have tickets from Muse, Rise Against, and Linkin Park concerts I went to hanging up in my room. *Nerd Alert* I can almost recite any given episode of Scrubs word for word while its on and quite a few segments from memory. I love to play basketball. Its great exercise and I get to interact with people I wouldn't usually meet. I used to be a gamer but I hardly play at all anymore.
I also like documentaries, I intern for a past professor showing documentaries to the public and holding discussions afterward. The event itself promotes community integration. I'm a Psych major at CSUF and intend to get a PsyD in clinical psychology with the current plan to have my own practice. I would also like to do research if the opportunity presents itself.
I'm fascinated by existentialism and I often think about it. I enjoy talking about things like psychological theories, philosophical matters, and human nature. I can talk about just about anything with zeal and some scientific knowledge. I'm not a stereotypical guy who can't string together a sentence. That being said I can be silly too, and just be a goof ball, I run the whole gambit haha.
I'm looking for someone I can share my time with. Someone who has a good sense of humor I think would be my biggest thing. It seems guys my age get a bad reputation for being preoccupied with physical endeavors. While not everyone is like that from some people I know I can see why the reputation is there. Bottom line is I'm not the guy stereotype. Life is what you make of it and I would like to find someone who likes me for me and vice versa. I don't mean to sound pretentious because I'm usually somewhat shy, but its kinda hard to reduce yourself to a block of text and have it include your essence.

My name is Kaylin. I'm currently a full time 3rd year student and musician in college. I have plans on transferring and on getting bachelors degrees in Music Performance, Music Education, and Master's Conducting..
I love traveling and I have been to Europe and all over the U.S.
One of my favorite beaches is Laguna Beach, and i think that the sunsets are to die for. I love hiking, ice skating, camping and just being outdoors in general.. I take a camping trip at least every summer, and i love going to the lake. I tried cliff-jumping for the first time last summer and it was probably the most exhilarating things i've ever done, mostly because i'm afraid of heights. But as you can see, those types of things never hold me back from having some fun, I'm always willing to try new things (: My favorite sports are Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey. My Sister plays soccer, and my grandfather played for a professional team in the Netherlands back in the day.. My mom and dad played basketball, so most of my family are athletes. I'm obsessed with driving and cars so my favorite sports car is any type of Lamborghini... I also love Jet Skiing, and would love to learn how to snowboard (:
I think i would say that i have the best of both worlds since my mom's family is from the Netherlands, but I also have family that live in the south(literally). Its a crazy mix, but i love it. I'm going to be spending thanksgiving with them in Mobile, Alabama this fall, so i'm excited! I am a bit of a country girl since i love the outdoors so much, so I'm not worried about being in the middle of nowhere..
Once you get to know me, i'm a very open, genuine kind of girl, but also a direct, straight foward, medium paced person when it comes to serious matters, especially relationships.
I'm mostly looking for something thats light at first to grow into something deep and if that opportunity for a serious relationship comes up, and I feel like its right, I'm not going to pass that up.. The goal is to find someone to potentially spend the rest of my life with, otherwise i wouldnt be here :)
Summer is my more mellow time of the year, however, during the fall and especially spring semesters I'm usually very packed during the week so finding time to date or meet people is really difficult. I try to get out more on weekends or days off, however, i find myself doing a lot on my own..
