Date a man from Arkansas, United States. I just retired to the Ozarks. Bought a small place in the country between Rogers and Eureka. Love the laid back style of life. I enjoy the beauty of the top of my mountain. Rehabed the whole house since I moved in. Ready to start living.
I'd likr to meet someone who want to live "laid-back" with LITTLE CLASS.
Meet someone special from Arkansas, United States. About Me: I'm 61 years old, but the guys at work tell me I look like I'm in my 40s. My daughter says this is further evidence that God is a man. I've been divorced now for 21 years and have a beautiful, 28 year old daughter from that marriage. She lives in New York City and is half way through a doctoral program in Experimental Forensic Psychology.
Getting divorced later in life I found that dating was much more difficult than it was in my 20s. It seemed that every woman I met carried baggage from broken relationships and that baggage collided with my baggage. When two people are surrounded by so much baggage it makes it nearly impossible to connect. So I settled happily into bachelorhood.
I have a wide variety of interests. On the top of my list is travel. As a timeshare owner, I have access to resorts in all 50 states and many countries around the globe. My daughter is usually my traveling companion, but I often travel by myself. Like I said, the bachelor life suited me well.
Recently though my feelings on bachelorhood have started to change. When I purchased this house I described it to my daughter over the phone. She was asking questions about the master bathroom. Why is it that woman always want to know about the bathrooms first and in detail? Anyway, the master bathroom has his and hers walk in closets and I said to my daughter, "It would be nice to have a her to go with the his."
As I get older I find myself wanting more and more to have someone to travel with and share new experiences with.
About you: I'm looking for someone who is conscious of their flaws and baggage and can laugh about it. I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be. A sense of humor is must; mine is very dry. An inquiring mind is also a necessity. Education is extremely important in my family. Not that I expect you to hold a degree, but I love learning. I spend a great deal of time reading, going to museums and watching educational television. A good discussion about a topic of interest is an enjoyable way to pass the time.
I'm a huge NASCAR fan and enjoy traveling to races. You don't have to like the same driver as me; I want a woman who has a mind of her own.
