First off, I'm an easy going girl working my way through college at Arizona State while balancing full time work. I LOVE sports, and that comes in part to being raised in an athletic family where ESPN is literally all that's pretty much allowed on tv. It's true what they say about diamonds being a gal's best friend. In my case, that's a baseball/softball diamond of course. I'm the girl that grew up with tom-boyish ways and did it while sporting the jerseys of greats like MJ & Steve Young. My dream is to travel and visit every MLB stadium I can, with Fenway at the top of my list. I'll watch everything ranging from the NBA Finals, to the NFL Playoffs, to the World Series, on to the College Bowl games just as faithfully as the next guy. Aside from the obvious love of sports, I'm the girl who loves to have her girl nights, dress up, go shopping, play with make-up, and swoon over the recent chick flicks or romantic comedies that are in theaters. :) Music is also another passion of mine. I dabble in guitar and write my own songs. Singing is the talent I'm working towards having. I get lost in personal favs of Jazz, to Soul, to R&B, and acoustic singer/songwriter Pop/Rock. As for work, at the moment I definitely love the job I have. The hotel industry is where you don't necessarily have to travel the world to experience it. I meet someone different everyday. I listen to their stories. Maybe learn a life lesson, And then realize that one day I will have the opportunity to make memories of my own. I'm still young and don't have it all figured out but am enjoying all of the right and wrong doings along the way. I am very outgoing and I tend to be very honest and blunt. My friends would say that I am very loyal and i've become that friend that everyone goes to, i'll drop everything to help someone. Im girlie, but i would consider myself a guys girl. If you dish it, i can take it and dish it back - sarcasm is my second language :) In a nutshell I'm always smiling and love to laugh, even at myself, personally i think life is less stressful that way! :).
I'm not on the hunt to meet someone, just looking for friends and it becomes serious down the road, even better! Otherwise, Im playing it by ear. You can't rush a good thing!
As far as being active, I like all sports. I do have a love for watching the NBA. I like to snowboard, go to the lake with friends, I grew up going to the dunes as a kid, BBQ with friends, bowling, playing volleyball, taking my pup the park, golf hiking, bikram yoga which is awesome and hiking outside when the weather is nice! There isn't anything I won't do or enjoy doing.
I do like to go out with friends, i think separated time is always good, but would love to find someone i can do both with and vice versa. As much as I am content going out, im also super content staying at home or doing something low key. Im looking for someone who doesn't want to spend every weekend going out to scottsdale and getting hammered. Personally I'm not a huge drinker so ill have a few drinks throughout the night and dance my butt off :), but every once in a while though its fun to let loose. Otherwise, a night at home, cuddling with a movie is great!
A deal breaker for me is someone who doesn't know how to have a GOOD BALANCE between their friend life and relationship life -- that is very important in my opinion. I wont give up my good friends to be in a relationship with someone else 24/7 and DONT want them to do the same. However, that doesn't mean that the relationship is less important either... . I grew up in Chicago, but moved to Phoenix one year ago. Being new to the area, I thought I'd give this thing a try and see what happens! I try to surround myself with good people, good music, good wine, and good food. (That's what l live by.) I'm very driven, and know what I want. I have a silly side that I share with my closest friends, so it's a surprise to people who first meet me because they don't always get to see that right away. In addition to my silly side, I have a big heart. I may do my share of talking when we first meet, but I'm an even better listener.
