My father came to the United States from Italy with his family at the age of five. He and his family worked hard to get to where they are today and ensure that the next generation had everything that they didn't. My family didn't have the privilege to spend time figuring out what to do with their life and to go to college to achieve those goals. I am a first generation college student in the Garino family and I am proud to be the role model and an example of success for my younger cousins.
I am unbelievably passionate about what I do; I could never see myself doing anything else with my life. My favorite quote is..."I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted, and behold service was joy." This could not be any more true for me. I love spending my time helping the animals and people around me. I find just an excitement and joy doing everything I can serve the world around me. Due to the fact that I am so passionate about this, I am extremely hard working. I will do what it takes to get to my dreams, I am too determined to let any opportunities pass me by.
When I'm not spending my time inching closer to my dreams and goals, I enjoy relaxing and spending time with my friends and loved ones. I am mostly an introvert, but I do enjoy creative days out of the house. I love to go to plays and take walks or picnics at the park. For the most part, as long as I am with someone I enjoy being with, I will be happy no matter what we are doing. Hm.. What else is there to tell..
I have one tattoo on my right calf and I plan on getting a few more through the course of my life.
I get water everywhere when I do the dishes!
