Meet a soulmate from Prescott, United States. I am a romantic who is young at heart and who passes for 10 years younger. Maybe it was teaching all those adolescents. I am a native Californian and enjoyed all the options it offered living in the city, but now live in a small town where people seem to be very genuine and friendly. I am pleased to find ballroom dancing and hiking as recreational outlets here.
I live in the historic district wanting to have the opportunity to walk everywhere which is possible for me. The quaint town is an attraction especially and for those who want to get away for a weekend to enjoy a different mountain climate with clear air.

I am grateful for all I have and am looking for a man who has an "attitude of gratitude." It's a crazy world and difficult to stay focused at times. And I value honesty and forthrightness.

Meet someone special from Arizona, United States. I would like to meet a man who is soft spoken, has a good sense of humor, treasures loyalty, can be trusted, not afraid to show a sensitive side and likes both small children/animals. He would need to make me feel safe in his company, and not try to change me any more than I would try to change him. He would need to be curious about the world and be open minded to people with different opinions.
I would like to find someone I could trust, enjoys mutual interests and who wanted to live every day as if it was his last. Someone who might come to care about me and would have no prolem with me caring about him.
I spent my first 18 years in sw Kansas. I attended Colorado Womens' College in Denver, where I was a music major. . I was a cheerleader in H.S., then at the Colorado School of Mines.
I am most proud of my 2 sons and being their mother. When the oldest was a senior in high school, the entire student body (2,000 students), faculty and staff voted me their Big Blue Award (given to the school's biggest booster). Many of their friends still refer to me as “mom.” My oldest son, the one most like me, died in an automobile accident in 1995 at age 29. I miss him every day and try and set an example he would be proud of.
I am grateful for life-long friends, and love getting together with many of my classmates. I enjoy my own company and have never needed someone to entertain me. As much as I like being in a crowd, I also love solitary pursuits, i.e. reading, watching a good movie/television and spending time on the computer.
I love all genres of music: Doo Wop, Classical, the Blues, Country, Jazz Swing. Ditto the movies with quite a collection of both movies and music c.d.'s.
I love to travel, especially by car so I can get off the main roads and see our beautiful country. I love history and enjoy visiting historical sites. My late husband was an architect, so have an intense interest in architecture. I enjoy finding the best restaurants anywhere I might be.
Friends say, "she never met a stranger." Once I know and like someone, I never want to "misplace" them. I never know what will make me laugh out loud, but it happens often. For 9 months, I have been transforming my appearance (still a work in progress) and it has been lots of fun. Close acquaintances who saw me before Thanksgiviing didn't recognize me at Christmas, and I am still evolving every day. I have purchased a 2nd home in Prescott and will be moving there within the next 8 weeks, the grandest adventure of my life.
