I am told by friends and relatives that I am good looking, brighter than a burned out light bulb, honest, sincere, reliable, and blah, blah blah. What should we expect from friends.
I come from New England, don't and grandchildren living in CT and ME. Try to see them 2-3 times a year for extended miss the cold or snow, do miss my childrenvisits. Since Tucson's funky got in my blood I will stay here until they take me to "boot hill". Very active in the singer/songwriter community, from home concerts to the annual Tucson Folk Festival.
I in traditional values, manners, responsibility, respect etc. Have been very active in community since my childhood scout days and continue to be through the present.
I need not list the usual traits that we are all looking for in these websites. Suffice it to say either we are, or we are not. I work a great deal because I like to. I like to build businesses and have been successful at it.
I am told that I don't look or act my age but I'm not sure what I am supposed to act like at 68. I am a former fighter pilot who managed not to get shot down but I promise not to bore you with fighter jock stories. The ego is still there but not so noticable. However I still fly fast planes ride fast motorcycles and have a pentient for adrenelin production.

. Hard working Executive just getting ready for retirement from the action packed aerospace industry....looking for a new best friend, travelgolf companion used to a rather fast pace, punctual with little or no baggage and an up-beat positive attitude...must be politically conservative as I am tired of arguing about politics under my own roof. Plan to keep my home in the upper Midwest and have already purchased a home in an up-scale golf community in Arizona.

. Do you love the outdoors? I would like to meet someone that loves to hike and explore new places. I've never tired of the Grand Canyon and hike into it at least once a year. Long term goals are to hike the Inca Trail into Machu Picchu, hike the Coast to Coast Trail in England, or do all or part of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain, company would be great. Hiked two Islands in Hawaii for 11 days with friends which was fantastic. I walk everyday and ride my bicycle on a regular basis for exercise. I just finished up a major remodel on my house, helped my son remodel his home, and have dabbled in stained glass for years having learned it in my father's business while growing up.
I love to explore new places and things. I definitely have a "Spirit of Adventure" and have always been open to try or do new things. I have a sense of humor and like to laugh and feel that I don't take myself too seriously, and will do most anything at the drop of a hat. I am looking to meet someone who has varied interests as I do and who keeps herself in shape . . . that means she is height and weight proportionate.
