I moved to Scottsdale to be near my family. I am originally from Iowa (near Omaha) and I grew up with midwest work ethics and manners.
I am really 6'1" and 185 lbs...from what I have heard some of the guys on here forget how tall they aren't and how much in shape they aren't. I don't look (I am NOT photogenic) or act my age, not sure if that is a good thing or not, but it is what it is.
All my photos are current, except for the one with Ali. Please have current photos, I am tired of getting surprised when I meet someone and it looks like their mom showed up. Someone actually had a 23 year old picture...imagine my surprise when we met (lol) !

Like most guys, I tend to forget the losses and exaggerate the victories. Having said that, I think most that know me like agree that I'm both passionate and compassionate. At times, I think I can be pretty darn clever. My interests are my kids, sports and music. I listen to goofy stuff and by all accounts spend just a tad too much time reading the sports page. Among the last books I've enjoyed, Kerouack-On the Road and Ethics for the New Millineum -The Dalai Lama. I am not a prolific reader by any means and I'm a lousy speller. I like to have fun but try not to at somebody else's expense. I love to travel. I'm a sensitive guy. Back to my friends, they might argue I'm sensitive to a fault. I'd just prefer to think of myself as the classic hopeless romantic. Hmmm.... who I'd like to date. I don't know, but here's what I do know. I'm looking for friend. I am looking for someone who's idiosyncrasies compliment mine. Don't need somebody exactly like me, I've already got that. I'm not a hunter or camper, and when I venture to a lake all that I try to catch is a buzz. My goal is meet a friend and I have no other expectations. I certainly don't like being alone or plan to spend the rest of my life alone but I'm not sure that any objective other than making a new friend is a sound one.
