. I have been in Match for a few months and to be quite honest my initial profile was just like so many that I read. Somewhat informative but safe. But I did not think it captured me as accurate as I would have liked. I get it that most of us (at least me) like to hike, enjoy music, travel, the outdoors, exercise, golfing, racquetball etc. But there is so much more to all of us. So here are some fun facts about me.
I was raised in Ohio and moved to Phoenix in 1981. I have a fantastic daughter who is a junior at U of A. I like to travel as much as anyone. I have been to Florida (Jan), Maui (March) and Sedona (April) so far this year. Later in the year I have weddings to go to in Pebble Beach and St Croix. And I'm sure I will sneak another trip or two in. So if you like vacations or long weekends away we have that in common.
I consider myself to be a generous person. One of the things I like to do is pick up the tab for people. It is the pay it forward mentality and a nice way to put a smile on someone's face.
I have been told that I am fun to be with. I have also been told I have a certain swagger about myself. I enjoy working out. I believe when you are fit you perform so much better in all aspects of life.
I am not into playing games. I just want to be around someone honest, fun, smart and whatever else you bring. And chemistry is huge. I want to be with someone who makes me smile.
I am just as comfortable going to a sporting event as I am the theatre (well, that is a stretch), a night of partying with music, drinks, dancing and friends or just having fun sitting at home watching a movie. And who doesn't like going out for a nice dinner?

. If you are looking for an average guy, keep looking, I am not it. What I am looking for most is the type of relationship where you can look across the room and with just eye contact you know that you are with each other. As a popular song says "I don't want the one you can live with, but the one you can't live without". I feel I can offer kindness and love. I hope that I can make the right woman laugh at me and at life.
I enjoy going to movies, comedy clubs, working out, dancing, coaching youth sports, curling up by a fire and watching a great movie with someone special. I also enjoy traveling, coffee and conversation and I especially enjoy landscaping and gardening although I am still learning the gardening part more and more each year.
I take at least one vacation a year sometimes more. I moved to Mesa, AZ (what a nice city) from Wisconsin. Although I like to travel, it is hard with just one person. I am not a very good loafer. I think to have your own businesses or write, you have to be self-motivated.
I read all the time, not only for fun but also to read other peoples style of writing. I should hangout with family and friends more, but it seems time slips by and then I must catch up.
My brother,who is 11 months younger than me, died of a heart attack at 37 . My father died at 54. I want to live life before I die and can no longer enjoy my profession. Now that my childern are gone I am facing a new phase of my life. I don't think it is " the one who dies with the most toys wins" but rather "the one who dies with the most people they love and who love them wins". I have enough "toys" and they don't make me happy and chasing for more isn't going to make me any happier.
I am a guy who is looking for a sweet, kind woman to share my life with. I enjoy many activities and sports, however the most important thing to me is a good friendship - someone who accepts me for my shortcomings and I for hers.
