At the urging of friends, I'm finally trying this internet dating thing:) My friends describe me as intelligent, fun, spontaneous and very laid back. I've also been told I have beautiful eyes. I attribute this attribute to my mother. I can come off as shy, but I'm actually very social. I guess I could be described as reserved. In social situations, I am an observer. I was raised in the midwest and have always valued education. This is evident in my profession as I'm a high school teacher. I love my job, but am grateful for summer. I have a very close knit family and am blessed that my parents are in excellent health. My family is hysterical and gatherings are never boring. I have two beautiful sons in middle school. They spend time here and in North Carolina.
I enjoy being outdoors and exercise regularly--mostly biking and running with my german shephard. I also enjoy traveling, festivals, the theatre, etc., but can be just as content snuggling on the couch watching a cheesy movie.
I'm looking for someone who has a great sense of humour, pride in his work, love for his family, respect for his body, but, is most of all, kind hearted.
