The backyard is filled with just about any kind of edible that you can imagine, and one's salivary glands might go into a frenzy if only to see what lay hidden amongst the well kempt foliage of the plants residing there. That which isn't enjoyed for my own purpose is eagerly given to the occasional empty hand - for one can always plant more than needed for those not able to grow for themselves.
Rarely does a day go by that my German Shepherd and I not spend several moments in the garden admiring the new life that has been coaxed to flourish from what was previously only a tiny seed in the palm of my hand. It is the epitome of what a perfect growing ecosystem should be like, and has taught me a lot about how most things in life should be cared for, as well.
In my spare time I enjoy the occasional brief weekend getaway for a music festival, barbecue competition, camping trip, or even pulling a few fish from one of the beautiful lakes in the area of which I live. Either pastime is something greatly enjoyed by myself, and I would hope that my new partner would enjoy some of these things too.
