I want to meet someone that can carry on a conversation, but that would not feel awkward sitting in the same room without talking ( just comfortable doing your own thing from time to time). OK, so about me; well, let's see...I am 5-3 and weigh 325 pounds - which I consider "slender." I live with my Mom, who also usually goes out with me. I like to cut the grass in a thong and workboots and I have a really cool collection of Star Trek figures! Oh yeah, and I have webbed toes - hope that's not an issue. OK, so by now you're either still with me and laughing or you've run away screaming! Seriously, though, I am an easy going guy (can be silly at times) and tend to balance my "go with the flow" attitude about life with alot of passion and energy on anything that means alot to me. Generally, I'm looking for someone who is also easy going and fun - someone to have laughs with, try new things, do dinners and beach trips, and also curl up on the couch with a good movie or just hang out listening to great music.
You can't take yourself too seriously in life, but from a professional standpoint, you have to have passion about and believe in something outside of you. For me, I am passionate about alternative energy and am in senior executive management in that field and have been having an incredible journey working on getting a new company launched in this area.
As far as hobbies and activities, I love music and I play guitar and drums and used to be lead singer in a bar band a few years back. I also like rebuilding old cars and ususally have a project car in the works. Right now I have a '69 Corvette in the garage in a thousand pieces! If you know how to turn a wrench, we can rebuild my engine together (oops, did I say that out loud?!) I also love football and lacrosse (I was captain of my college lacrosse team - whoo hoo!), especially Bama football - Roll Tide! I exercise regularly and enjoy walking my dogs.
I have a beautiful, super-cool daughter, who is sweet and creative and also loves music just like her Daddy! I also have two awesome dogs!
I love the beach and have traveled quite a bit including overseas. But my favorite place is probably still the beautiful Gulf Coast which we are so lucky to be near.
