I grew up Baptist, converted to Catholicism, and now consider myself without a religion; so, if a shared religious experience is important to you, we are probably not a match. I'm not much into atheists either. I've always considered atheists to be lacking in imagination; and I still feel, and must feel to stay sane, that there is something beyond myself that is unexplainable.
I consider myself a writer, but I have to work at a soul-sucking job to pay the bills. I don't necessarily hate my job, but wouldn't you agree you can categorize as soul-sucking any job that does not utilize your gifts?
I read a lot, and this is important to me. Yes, I watch television more than I should, but I am trying to cut back and perhaps eliminate it completely from my life. If there was some sort of methadone-like substance that could help me gradually ease off, that would be great. If you watch a lot of television and don't feel icky afterwards, or if you can write a sentence without punctuation or capital letters and not feel guilty about it, we're definitely not a match. What does one have to do with another, you may ask? My hunch is that one's inability to write the English language is proportionate to one's concern for the Kardashians.
