I am an extreme social Darwinist, and I find myself being too picky at times when it comes to choosing a partner. I know that no one can be perfect, but you can either be all you can be or not, and I prefer the former.
My hair used to be to the bottom of my shoulder blades as you can see. It got a little too hot last summer when I worked outside. I felt like making a change for once, but it only reminded me of the fact that short hair just isn't for me. I'm currently growing it back out to be as long as it was previously. I had seriously luscious hair.
The only genres of music I actively listen to in order of frequency are metal, techno, and classical. If I had to list a favorite band, it would be Iron Maiden. I will listen to rock, alternative, or grunge if it comes on the radio. Every now and then, I will let music play of a genre I normally would not listen to in order to examine it for its musical qualities.
I will have played guitar for seven years this Christmas. I have played drums in the past for about a year, and I have a couple of bass guitars which I play very seldom as of the last couple years; however, I have logged a solid two years on bass. I have a glockenspiel that I also play very seldomly, but I'll use it one day in some recordings. I have composed one classical song which is roughly eight minutes in length. I'm currently working on second. I have a hypothetical bag of riffs within my head that I'm always eager to pull from when I stumble upon something that will compliment it. I am entirely self taught on every instrument I play. I need to learn more music theory, but for now, I play the picture I seek to paint with sound.
From the time I was a child, I was designing anything and everything mechanical. I began drafting in technical school during my junior and senior years in highscool. I placed second in the state Skills USA competion for mechanical drafting during my junior year. I went on to college majoring in mechanical engineering, but I ended up swapping my major to drafting and design with the intent of continuing my engineering degree. I took a single semester off after graduating with my Associate's in drafting, and I have enrolled again to complete my engineering degree. I will be transfering to UAH to complete my Bachelor's. If I'm not too exhausted at that point, I will probably double major in materials science.
I don't care what career path you are choosing, but unless you own your own company, I would like for you to have attended college. It doesn't take a business degree to have a business. It takes capitol and a niche. I immensely respect anyone who can run a business.
As they say, religion should unite people, not separate them. I'm indifferent to your beliefs, but I will never change my own beliefs without a major tangible revelation nor will I ever attend church. I am Agnostic, but I believe my morals are set higher than your average Christian. I am always nice and always doing the right thing, not in fear of a deity, but because it is the right thing to do.
