I'm really looking for someone who doesn't feel that their life has to fit in a small box, someone who is open to change and who is always trying to improve themselves and their life. But possibly the most important attribute for me is honesty, being a decent, honest person is incredibly important to me.
My friends see me as someone who is fairly intelligent and someone they can come to for help. Intelligence and an ability to adapt and deal owith problems is very important to me. As is independence. I like having a shoulder to lean on when the going gets tough but I try to never be fully dependent on anybody or anything. Being able to stand on ones wn two feet is a very important attribute in my eyes.
I love my friends, however, I've never been the type to have a ton of them. I have a few close friends and then a number of acquaintances, I've never felt the need to be the most popular kid in the class, but I tend to get along with most people. I've never been the type that just has to fit in, you'll never see me in $200 shoes or a $300 pair of jeans. My friends tend to be the same, I enjoy people who don't spend too much effort trying to 'look the part' so to speak.
I love to travel, I love new things, new experiences, learning new things and meeting interesting people. I would really like to meet someone who shares that passion and who wants to continually try and learn new things.
I enjoy the company of people who have gained a lot during their life, that doesn't mean they have to have seen the world, you can become a very interesting person with good depth just by paying attention to the world around you.
