First and foremost I am a Christian, and that is the most important thing for me to find in someone. Someone who is a devoted follower of Christ, and loves Him with their everything. For me, I like to skateboard, snowboard and surf. I love music, I play guitar, drums, and synthesizer. I also like playing basketball, which I have been doing a lot of lately. I love to watch movies and play games and I like to travel and have fun. I have an easy going Californian laid back personality. I go with the flow.
I felt the need to expound on this section of my profile and to give a little more insight on my personality and the way I am. Like I said before, I am a Christian, and that is the number one aspect for me to find in my match. I am so tired of the dating thing, I am done with that. I am looking for the one, and to be honest this kind of stuff scares the crap out of me. I have never done the whole internet dating thing, but nothing else has been working, so I figured I would give it a shot.
I am not big on the bar scene, that's pretty much one of the last places I would want to meet someone (not saying it can't happen), but I want something special, something meaningful. I am a romantic, I love doing special things for her, and love being around her, but I am also the Man, and know my role, and know that I am to provide for, protect, cherish, and be the model for my future wife to follow. I am also kind of old fashioned. I like doing the special things for her, such as bringing flowers just because I wanted to, opening doors for her, giving her my jacket when she is cold. I know some girls want to do things for themselves, but I don't feel that being a gentleman is degrading to woman's self esteem, I feel like it only builds them up, and lets them know that they are a valued individual in a world where women are looked at as objects.
So what do I like to do? I mentioned before that I like sports, snowboarding being my favorite to participate in (and yes it is a sport). I pretty much will watch any movie there is, my movie tastes go from one extreme to the other. For example, I love a good gory horror flick, but also have a fondness for romantic movies, romantic comedies are some of my favorites. I really enjoy movies like Serendipity and 27 Dresses, but I also like movies such as Saw and Resident Evil.
I can be happy indoors or out. I like playing games. I like playing games more when I have friends over to play them with. (Yes I like Halo) Although I do like games, I am not some kind of gaming nerd, I don't do the whole game is your life kinda deal.
I love watching football, fall Saturdays are the best, and the best place to be in fall on a Saturday is in the Crimson Heart of Alabama, Tuscaloosa! RTR! Ha Ha, sorry had to throw that out there. Tailgating is something I love to do, especially when I am doing the cooking. I have been told that I can cook some of the best ribs and wings you will ever eat, (Not bragging) but I can cook and enjoy it!
As far as my lifestyle goes; I work full time as a computer technician for the school systems in my area, I hope to return to school soon to finish my degree in Film and Photography. My weekend plans usually don't happen until last minute, but usually involve me spending time with friends or family. I don't drink much and tend to wanna stay away from the bars, but that doesn't mean I won't go. I just feel the night is better when you can remember it, plus I am an example to a lot of people and don't want to blow that.
