I am currently a student at Auburn University where I am in my final couple of semesters to getting my bachelors degree in psychology. I have completed my advanced EMT certification from Southern Union and will be starting Paramedic school in the spring of 2013. I absolutely love working on the ambulance and if it paid a little better I would be happy I think to be a medic for the rest of my life. However, that is currently not my end goal. After medic school I will be preparing myself to apply to medical school. I want to have a more definitive role in the care of people and hope to one day specialize in trauma surgery. That is the current plan, but if there is one think I have learned it is that if you want to make God laugh, tell him your "plans."
Because I am still in school, and will be for the foreseeable future, I feel kind of weird trying this dating site thing, but I am so tired of trying to meet people at the bars where the music is so loud that I cannot hear myself talk. My hearing is bad enough anyway from sirens and it is truly impossible for me to carry on a conversation with someone at the bars. Also, it seems everyone at the bar is just looking for a good time for one night, which is all fine and dandy, but thats just not me. I am looking for a real relationship with someone who I can share interests with and grow with.
I am a generally happy person and almost always in a good mood. I am extremely easy-going and can just roll with the punches which is something I have had to do over the past few years as I have grown and learned more of what I want out of life.
