I was born into the wrong time as my values seem to be those of a knight with the talent of a bard, chivalrous, steadfast and romantic. Then again I am also... and you cant tell this by looking at me... don't get scared... I am a southern male with a brain. I love computers (which is my business I have a Bachelors but am also a tech that takes care of his customers)
The only person in this house other than me is my faithful sidekick "Buddy" who will stare you down for a piece of bacon.
I may be above 35 years old but I have the energy and stamina of a 18 year old. Understanding my work with computers and my hobbies tend to be sedentary but, I am also active and I work out to keep fit. These things along maintaining a home helps, and no I am not opposed to mowing the yard or washing the car. A good saying for me would be "a body in motion tends to stay in motion". I also like being around people and spend a good amount of time with my friends playing music, doing karaoke or just visiting.
Computers fascinate me, I guess that would make me a futuristic knight, saving damsels in distress one hard drive crash at a time, but I don't do midi's as a bard, I have standards and prefer my guitar and would be happy to make mp3's for people to listen to. I have written quite allot of music and enjoy it as a mood calmer.
I am a hopeless romantic, I love women, but I am and always have been a one woman man - Feel free to contact past relationships - references on request. Music is the rhythm of my life, I have a complete love of music both playing and listening to it. I have played at both private and public functions and hope to get more into the sound engineering side of things in the future.
This hobby and love I have, was given up for a time, but am now again getting my feet wet... no I admit, I am jumping in with gusto and play often as it makes me feel good. I have an interesting side hobby going on, I do play online gaming. I know your probably rolling your eyes, but what is interesting is I have developed an online radio station approved by the company of this particular game, we play music 24/7 and have online radio shows that are based around the game. It's interesting to listen to and the music we play is a mix of everything with no set genre. I am happy to share the information on how to find this online radio station, website complete with online newspaper (again based around the game) and more with anyone who is interested. Instead of playing a day of golf, I'll play the online game. ;) But I would go to the lake instead.
I enjoy fishing on comfortable days. Not quite the die-hard fisherman other guys are. You won't catch me out on the lake on windy rainy days. Whats the point right?
When it comes to what I'm looking for? A friend and one day if it grows into something else, awesome. A lady who enjoys showing affection as a natural part of who she is and wouldn't be in a relationship without it. We all know someone that we've been with that was affection-less don't we?

Ok. How do you talk about yourself and say enough without saying too much?
I am a Christian. I'm a daddy. I am divorced, however I am over it and have grown from it a lot.. (that's hard to say after the whole, I'm a Christian thing right?) I am a firm believer in the Biblical definition of marriage. Sadly though, other people's free will and choices have an effect on our lives. We can't change other people, only ourselves, and through everything we can hopefully grow into even better people. How do you like me so far???? I don't always start out so heavy but wanted to get that out there. I still believe that marriage is to be forever, and I still desire to share the rest of my life with the right person.
I desire to be honorable in all things. This includes any potential relationship I might become involved in. So, if I seem like I am a bit old fashioned, well....I sort of am. Holding doors open, pulling chairs out etc. It's just how I was raised.
Now on to more of who I am. I have two beautiful daughters who mean the world to me. I'm outgoing, honest and love to laugh, and need more laughing in my life! I travel a lot for work but am always home on Mondays, Fridays and weekends. I value my time away from work and like to make the most of it, even if that it just unwinding and relaxing, or going out to a concert or dinner. I love live music, being outdoors, grilling out, working on my yard and most if all, having fun. I love God and my faith comes first. I love my two daughters and spending time with them, listening to them laugh and play, taking them fishing, to the Science center, to the zoo, or just playing UNO with them. Being a father to them is my first priority. I share custody so my time with them is very important.

I am not sure how I feel about this online stuff, but I do not do the “bar thing” and I honestly don’t know how else to go about meeting someone( and I am aware that probably sounds pathetic).
First and foremost, I am not a player nor am I a serial dater.
I am very laid back, easy going, and hardworking. I honestly believe that cheating is wrong. I consider myself to be “down to earth” and practical.
I moved to Arab in March 2010 when I got a job offer in Huntsville. Previously, I was in the Gadsden area. I have liked Arab so far. Small town, but has about anything here that a person would need.
I do believe there is a “soul mate” out there for me. Someone whom I cannot wait to get home to. Someone to spend the rest of my life with. And I don’t mean to sound “corny” or “cheesy”.
As far as this site goes, I have not finished my profile and have only posted one picture. I do not plan on being on here very long. I was on here a little while back and met someone. But, as it turned out, she just wanted to go out every 2 or 3 weeks with a little texting in between. And I am not saying I need 100% of someones time, but I am wanting to find a “soulmate”.
My kids live in Lincoln with their mom. I have them up here every other weekend. I wish they lived with me, but I guess I am “old fashioned” in that I believe a child needs their mom. And she is a good mom.
