Here are a few things about me. I am and outdoor enthusiast. I love being active and doing things such as hiking to the top of a mountain, camping, exploring the desert, fishing, backpacking, golfing, playing catch, shooting trap and skeet, mountain biking, or whatever, I am always down. I have a BA in geography (feel free to make fun of me for it, I don’t mind. Perhaps I can teach you more about it because it is not what you think) and I work as a GIS specialist and researcher for a land brokerage company. I am currently applying to grad school for the same field. I am ambitious and determined when I know what I want, and I go out and get it. I am initially quiet but I warm up very quickly, especially if laughing is involved. I used to work 3 jobs, but I realized that life is too short to work yourself to death. I’m not big into partying or drinking or anything like that, I just think there is more to life. Family is very important to me and I would do absolutely anything for mine. I treat my close friends very well and I do my best to try to make those around me laugh, even at my own expense. I am dorky most of the time, and a smart ass the rest. Everything has the potential to be funny, so why not make the most of it? It will make you live longer (fact). I am always honest and I don't put up with BS, and I appreciate the same in return.
What I am looking for in another person is hard to put into words. I am looking for someone who puts butterflies in my stomach; someone who is my girlfriend AND my best friend. I want someone who is down to earth, intelligent, witty, funny, selfless, ambitious, kind, independent, humble, and adventurous. I am not interested in a clinger or someone with jealousy issues as I believe that shows a lack of trust (you will not see those traits with me). If you can’t take a joke or laugh at yourself, I am not interested. If you are afraid of a little dirt or think sports are stupid, I am probably not interested. I am a one woman type of guy and I give my all in a relationship. I am not interested in dating a bunch of women; I just want to date the right one. I realize that my ideal match does not exist because nobody is perfect, however, you can get pretty close. Ultimately, I want something that will be long lasting and will allow the both of us to grow and share the experiences of life together.
