Lost a good friend/companion to Lung Cancer, and although I knew him for only a year and three months, we had a deep connection and could read each other's minds! He was 69 years young!! Unfortunately, future plans to marry were cut short; need less to say, I was pretty heart broken and will not want to be involved with a current smoker ever again!!
I am a positive, Christian minded woman mixed with Buddhism/Theology/Philosophy! I am currently, getting well, again, and fully and completely recovered from major reconstructive foot surgery that was done on 10/14/2010 and 11/08/2011, for both feet needed screws in the arches, some bones shaved off and tendons repaired; now, my feet are stronger than they ever!! And I am currently, in the process of eating healthy again; though, I LOVE my Coffee, and that is my only vice! I do not smoke, drink or do drugs, other than the occasional pain killer, and I believe I am healthy minded, in MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT...
To say that I am unique is egoistic, so I will just say, that I am a woman who possess many talents!!! I am a natural Singer, Photographer, and Artist, and I love sharing these facets of myself whenever I can! I am without conceit, vainglory, and false pride; however, I do respect myself and would want the same kind of man, who can compliment my shortcomings. I was born and raised in the beautiful Napa Valley. I remember my girlfriends wanted to grow up to be a princess..a nurse. I wanted to be an FBI agent, US Marshal or a police officer! I worked hard as a young single mom, and when my kids were in high school, I put myself through the police academy while working full time. A personal accomplishment I'm very proud of. I loved my work so much. I left my department when my youngest was born 7 years ago, and took on a most important opportunity - to be a stay at home mom:)
I've since returned to work, temporarily working as a legal assistant (back to my old roots) and recently took a position on a retail management team. I love working with the public, it is always challenging and never a dull moment!
