Along the way I designed and build or renovated a half-dozen houses including the one I am in now--a simple, cedar and stone, solar-powered home in the middle of the vineyard, surrounded by oaks and madrones, at the top of a mountain with a breath-taking view of wine country.
Now I am a vintner--growing grapes and making wine. I am a simple man. My commute is 20-ft. to the vineyard and 20-ft. to the winery. My four-legged best friends keep me company. I live in paradise!
I dress down in shorts and T's to work in the vineyard and can dress up in my tux for those special occasions. But i am most comfortable outside communing with nature.
