What I mean by, "We are all like the weather" is that so much about what we do and how we carry ourselves, and react to situations is based on things that are beyond our control. We are all like the weather in that we are kind of predictable, but at times the sun shines when we expected rain and the rain comes when we expected sun. I am learning slowly but surely that I need to become a better weatherman as it pertains to people. I like the rain and I like the sun., but I want to deal with both in a rational way. I am not perfect, and because I am human I hope no one expects that of me. Becoming perfect is on my list of things to do, I feel some progress has been made.I read different things that give me different perspectives on issues. Ultimately, I just want to spend time with someone who isn't comparing their life to another persons life. Envy is the killer of happiness.
At the moment the priorities are work, then social life. I would prefer the opposite, but times are different now and have to adjust. I have no inheritance coming in my life and no free rides, so it is what my hands and mind can produce that will decide my future.
I know that I don’t want a woman that eventually will require me to cut a wall out of the side of the house, then request a helicopter to airlift her to the nearest Oprah Winfrey weight loss center. I also like woman who thinks things through and appreciates the simple things. Passive agressive behavior I have learned is not good for me either. If a problem comes up between two people, it should be discussed as soon as possible. I am however, a firm believer that some problems need to be discussed when a person is ready.
