I am a super positive person who chooses to get busy really living life! I don't just want to plant myself in front of the TV or do the same old predictable things all the time. I try to spend my time doing things that I really enjoy: nurturing friendships, traveling to visit friends, and being involved in church. In the past year, I have taken a hot air balloon ride, driven from Arkansas to Florida, taken a beach vacation, and learned a little bit more about horseback riding. I also enjoy camping, boating, listening to live music, and exploring, but those are much more fun with someone else.
I'm a strong Christian and IРІР‚в„ўm looking for a man who is, too. Ideally, I hope to meet someone who really has a relationship with Christ.
A few tidbits about me: I would choose a wooded cabin over a 5-star hotel; something grilled over a white tablecloth dinner, and a country music concert over shopping. In other words, IРІР‚в„ўm pretty simple and looking for the same. I think its important for a woman to always look her best, but I can get ready in less than half an hour; you wonРІР‚в„ўt spend a lot of time waiting on me; early to bed, early to rise; I love pets but my travel schedule doesnРІР‚в„ўt allow for it. While I do love both kinds of music (country AND western…okay, a little Christian, too), I have zero interest in clubs and bars. I don’t think I’m a strong conversationalist and I prefer small groups of people to larger ones; small churches, too. I am most interested in wholesome, family-type activities: attending a hometown parade, decorating the house on holidays, watching a high school football game, holding hands on a porch swing.
I am very loyal and appreciate being able to speak and listen openly with my partner. My friends would tell you that IРІР‚в„ўm strong because IРІР‚в„ўm not afraid to be by myself and that I will speak my mind without the best of filters. I donРІР‚в„ўt really place a strong value on political correctness and I wonРІР‚в„ўt hesitate to call a spade a spade, although I try to be careful not to hurt people's feelings.
Although my profile says I'm a social drinker, I am actually a very light drinker (average one a month or less) and could live the rest of my life without alcohol. I don't mind at all if my partner drinks, but it should be kept within reasonable limits.
I enjoy most any live sporting event and although I donРІР‚в„ўt know the rules of any of them, I enjoy learning. I love being around water, hanging out with friends, cooking out, country music concerts, and camping and hiking when the weather is just right. I walk a couple of miles every day and thatРІР‚в„ўs a priority in my life.
I love to travel and my idea of a fun adventure would be to rent an RV and spend a few weeks heading west, just seeing where the road takes us. There is so much to discover in this world, and I want to see it all. IРІР‚в„ўm a very curious person and IРІР‚в„ўm not intimidated to ask questions so that I can better understand something. I have a childlike appreciation for even the smallest things in life, and you will often see me literally stopping to smell the roses, watch a butterfly, or inspect a leaf close up.
