So, essay time. Always a challenge to write about yourself, you are basically selling yourself to the world at large. Ok, so here goes..... Recently relocated to Southern Arizona, I spent six years living the life in aloha doing fun and exciting things for the government. I am looking to slow my life down a little bit and have fun adventures instead of slightly dangerous adventures. I have decided to take the education plunge and pursue my Masters Degree and better myself and my professional career. I have an awesome job now where I am considered the Subject Matter Expert in my field, and for the first time in a while, I am ready to get out there and see who I can meet.
I tend to think I come across as a confident guy who loves life, adventure and fun. I definitely have traveled the world and seen a lot there is to see, but I still have so much more to do. I love the outdoors and can generally be found there on the weekends. Arizona is a lot different than Hawaii, so I am trying to replace surfing with hiking. I am committed to leaving the world a better place than i found it, and to that end, i pursue my career with determnation and drive. However, i also love to laugh and a secret of mine is that I love food and while I stay in shape, I am always ready to try something new in the culinary world. If I had to sum myself up in three words it would be, passionate, dedicated and adventurous.
So what am I looking for? I need someone who is adventurous like me, but can also enjoy a quiet weekend at home. I am looking for a woman that knows how to have fun, but can also be in a committed relationship that develops over time. I am looking for someone young in heart and mind, because I may be 37 but I am more outgoing and adventurous than a lot of 27 year olds, I don't have a particular type when it comes to looks, each woman is unique in her own and should not be scored against another. However, curly hair is definitely a plus.....
A few random facts about me: I have wild and crazy hair, I am writing a book at this time, but I have had three months of writers block, if you like sushi, I guarantee I will like you. My musical tastes are incredibly eclectic and unique, I love the ocean and have become very protective of it, I actually know how to load a dishwasher and vacuum........i have the awesomest dog on the planet

Hi, I'm Nevin. I recently moved here from Flagstaff for school and work. I hiked Mt. Lemmon not too long ago, had a good time! Great place to get away from the urban sprawl that is Tucson. Haven't seen any live bands/shows yet in this town, but I do like to check out the music scene. I like to be out, but can be a homebody too. I've lived all over the country - Tennessee, Dallas, Austin, Arkansas, Hawaii, Sacramento. One day I'd like to hike up Humphrey's Peak near Flagstaff.
