I have been to some places and seen some things that have given me a unique perspective on people. For the most part, I think all people, especially in this day and age, can say the same thing. I prefer not to think of it as a jaded pessimistic view, but rather a more aware view of what people will do when either left to their own devices or pushed too far in a direction they don't want to go in.
That being said, I'm looking for someone who is dull, boring, and predictable. That may be too extreme of a description... I'm looking for someone who can be upfront, honest, and to the point to start out with. Early stages of dating are all about the fun of getting to know each other, and I understand and enjoy that. After a certain point, though, if there's anything that needs to be let out, I'm hoping my potential partner won't hold back or leave things out. I don't know or care when it happens, but at some point it needs to happen. Likewise, I'll respectfully honor that in return.
I'd like to meet someone who is comfortable in their own skin. There's nothing worse than a person with a facade with big giant signs all around them that scream 'I'M NOT CONFIDENT IN MYSELF!!!'. Even further, the person who won't admit it ;)
Be comfortable, be relaxed, and understand that I'm a human being, too, probably feeling the same way you are.
Lastly, I'm looking for someone who has even a small amount of class. Nothing is a turn-off like a super extreme potty mouth who speaks like this: "**** ** ***** ******** ** * ***** ******* and I ****** **** that ***** ****". Class doesn't necessarily have to mean that you're a queen, either. I like to roll out of bed in my boxers and be relaxed just as much as the next person. In public, around family, and overall, I'd like to find someone who can just hold to themselves and be representative in such a manner that says, "She's okay."
