I have five kids, three daughters (one in CO - 27), one going to college in Germany (21) on an exchange program from ASU, one at ASU (19), two sons here in AZ (17 and 15). Four grandbabies in CO too. (I know, I know.) My profile says no on kids but it just means I don't want to create any more. Am fine with mine and will be fine with yours.
Live in the Cave Creek (North of Desert Ridge) area here in AZ now. Lived in Tempe from 1985 through 1998. CO for about 10 years. Back about three years ago.
Don't want to rush into a relationship but do want to meet a partner to share my life with. My kids are getting pretty independent and it would be very nice to have a lady in my life to spend time and grow into a relationship with. I'm very LOYAL, LOVING, HONEST, MONOGAMOUS, TRUSTWORTHY, affectionate, courteous, prompt, gregarious and fun loving. Hopefully you share some of these qualities too. (The ones in upper case are mandatory.) I guess in the simplest terms, we have to be good for each other and good to each other. And we have to have FUN!!!
Pet peeves. Please be over your last partner, mate, husband, pet, intimacy issues, whatever (really don't want to meet you if your past partner's ashes are in a box in your bedroom or if you still live with him - yeah, I've got some good stories from the whole internet dating thing). I am a good listener but really am not a good counselor (I care but just don't have the tools or training to fix problems). I'm not a good replacement for anything either but can be a great friend and partner. I understand that kids come with their own sets of rules and (having tons of these experiences myself) will understand that they are a priority in your life and that they will have issues (just as we all did) that require attention (please understand that mine do/will too). Please also have mastered basic grammar and English skills (you know how to use they're, there and their right?). I have teenage kids who I proofread for. Not something I want to do with a girlfriend or a partner.
On the topic of pictures, mine are recent and very representative. And predominately of me. If your anonymity is of such great importance that you can't post your picture on a dating website out of concern for our national security, please consider me unworthy and pass me by. Please just have recent pictures posted.
Now the fun part. I know some of you are just messing with me when you contact me and can't spell, have the English skills of a primate, are habitual tobacco chewers, have bubba teeth (that you wear regularly - I only wear mine on the weekends), are in witness protection programs and can't publish a picture, outweigh me, etc. While I have found this entertaining to a great degree, I really doubt I'm gonna "hook up" with you. Oh, I really hope those were bubba teeth. Yeow!!!
