I have worked at a local college doing computer support for 22 years specializing in disabled student services for the last fourteen. I find it rewarding, inspirational and humbling. I try to get out to events of all sorts. I enjoy art: fine, funky and performance, art walks, museums, galleries and shows. I have been called diverse and considerate, creative and bright and other things not so kind. I day hike, scuba and skin dive, take photos, cook, and have great season tickets to Arizona Theatre Company. I have always loved cooking with friends. My longest relationship was 20 years long which ended 15 years ago. I have no children. I moved to Arizona at age of 5 and feel more native than not. I bought a house a couple of years ago while the prices were low and am fixing it up two or three projects at a time. I am adding solar power this year. I like simple quiet times and complex and chaotic things. I travel and want to do more. I have seen the Burning Man and Sturgis. I have had breakfast in Paris and cooked tuna fresh off the spear for 25 in Mo’orea. Hawai’i is nice, but I prefer French Polynesia. I rafted the Green River in Utah for 8 days last summer. I visit the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show several times each year. I plan to go to the Galapagos Islands and Belize in the next year or two. I miss going to wine tastings. I don’t do any one thing to the exclusion of all others. I do not watch sports or racing. Movies I love: classics, action, art house whatever. My recent favorite is The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Live comedy I enjoy. There is a free show by good local comics every Wednesday night at the Hidden House. I enjoy museums, restaurants, shopping and seeing all the sights wherever I go. I wear shorts and sport coats but not together. I am riding my bike 5 to 10 miles three to five times a week. I have a few poems published. I used to enjoy fly fishing and have changed my own brakes, clutches, radiators etc but never enjoyed it as a hobby. I have never owned a car only trucks. I am a reasonably safe driver. It makes me smile when a woman puts her feet on the dash on a long drive. I like comfort and adventure. My two favorite places are Arizona and Tahiti with the California central coast a near third. I have visited a few hot springs in the last year. A woman interested in me should be reasonably polite and honest mostly. Active, aware, sensual and intelligent would not hurt either. About the feet on the dash, she should not be driving at the time.
