My friend talked me into going onto match.com 2 days ago. So now that I have browsed, I see that most people write a lot more about themselves then I did :)
So here goes. I was in a relationship for 25 years and left my husband 1 year ago. (I should have left alot sooner.) I have two boys 17 and 14 and now that they are teenagers, I find I have a lot more time on my hands (they aren't needing mom like they use to!)
Feels funny to be "out there" now again after all these years, but I was surprised how lonely I felt after leaving my husband because I always felt so alone with him! The reason I left him was because it got so he did not share in my and the boys lives or activities and didn't want to do anything. I dreaded the thought of going through the rest of my life with someone who didn't even want to sit and have a conversation, much less go out and enjoy life.
So that's what I'm looking for. Someone who wants to share and discuss things, have fun and see what's out in the world.

Just this once I don't want to be financially responsible for anybody so those below my income sorry and good luck in your search. Alcohol if this is a lifestyle for you happy hunting, a drink here and there is great. drugs/bikers are a deal breaker. I am not looking for my next marriage certificate; I am however interested in a partner-long term, but relax friends are good too! I love to laugh and tease. I work hard but want my play time too. I will never be accused of being Betty Crocker, but obviously I don't starve either. If you are into the old Muscle Cars come on down! My horse dumped me and so did the motorcycle; so I have some scars and breaks here and there-Mom said to take up reading (instead I took up target shooting)No mishaps there....yet. He is patient,communicative,loves to laugh, he takes his responsibilities seriously, the bar scene is not a life style, sports ok but again not an obsession. he doesn't need me but he will show in subtle cool ways that he wants me. He loves to explore; he must love 7 lbs of trouble named Ginger (dashund)don't worry she has a knack for wrapping guys around her paws! He will understand that work is important to me and sometimes I just want "me time". He wants to build toward a future and he wants to take it slow so we both don't make a mistake. If he likes shopping, he will have to drag me kicking and screaming!
I have a natural affinity for all types of animals, so be prepared to pull off the road just to watch a deer or a porcupine meandering thru the woods.
Look guys don't expect me to be a Beyonce cuz I am just not, I clean up pretty good but I am far more comfortable just being me. I want my guy to be a man's man but have a heart. I want him to be self sufficient and self confident without the arrogance. I want him to care and show it in private.
