Date someone special from Alaska, United States. I like to think I live my life as though it's my last day on earth, but treat my body as though it will be around for ever! I live with some of our country's cleanest air and water. Near the world's largest brown bear population. Our ski area has been featured in powder magazine. We have one of the healthiest fisheries in the world and some of the oldest spruce trees. I've called Alaska home for over 20 years. When the weather is nice, I'm not sure there's a more beautiful place on the planet. That said, the weather is often not so nice.. so I travel a lot!!! Though I would love for you to experience this incredible place - know that I would perhaps live anywhere on the planet with the man I love. I consider myself confident, self sufficient, eager to learn (recently started guitar lessons), always willing to stretch myself. I can almost always find the lesson, or the bright side of any situation. I'm comfortable on a week long kayak trip, or tango dancing in a sweet little black dress! I've lived in several cultures and enjoy every opportunity to experience new people and places. My family is scattered on the globe, but we will always show up for each other. I'm fortunate to love my work, and it's allowed me to be financially stable and very flexible, allowing me time for playing and exercising (usually one in the same), relaxing, traveling and nurturing relationships with family and friends. I'm passionate, and happy. I have every reason to believe a happy, healthy, fun, funny, kind man is alive and ready to soar with a kindred spirit into our golden years with teenage lust and wise love. . It is hard to talk about yourself, but I feel I am easygoing, have a great sense of humor, and enjoy doing just about anything.
I am new to ANC area. Since I don't really go many places after work I find it hard to meet new people beyond the people I work with, so I thought this might be a way to meet someone.
. I still believe a stranger is a friend you haven't met. I have met the most fantastic people in the strangest of places and now I enter into the cyber world. It's a little scary, but I'm up for the challenge!
. I really enjoy men who are tolerant of life's foibles and who have lots of interests. I like men who are very different from me, and I enjoy men who are similar to me as well.

Underneath all of that, I am usually a bit on the quiet side. I am quite tolerant. I believe that a noble heart trumps most everything else. I don't mind looking like an idiot if the cause is just. I try to apologize when I am wrong (and often find myself apologizing). I believe in the golden rule ( I hope you remember what that is). I believe god is in many religions. I think tolerance is more important than finding the perfect person. I like people who like to laugh!
With a partner, I think mutual respect is essential and is more important than what we do together. I think good relationships evolve and what we do together changes as we get to know each other.
I think getting to know a man is usually an adventure I enjoy.
. Social to start with and then we can see where we go from there. Not sure what I am looking for just looking. Someone to stay warm with on cold fridged nights may be in the future. Have to wait and see.

. I'm a woman of strong character, who can take care of herself. I believe you get what you give in this life. There is a time and place for everything. I can be honest to a fault! I have been told I have no filter, but that doesn't mean I am cold or mean, just honest! I am who I am and feel that you should accept people for who they are and visa versa. Communication is the key to any relationship, friendship or otherwise. Laughter is the best medicine and I do a lot of it! LOL! If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at??
