Date a girl from United States. About me….hmm, what to say? Well, I am 23 and have lived in Alaska almost all my life. Though I do have faith and beliefs, I’m not much into going to religious services every week or anything like that. Not opposed to it either. I was home schooled off and on most of my life until I reached high school where I spent 2 and a half years at Colony High in Palmer. Instead of graduating with my class, I obtained my GED when I was 17 so I could spend what would have been my senior year traveling to Indonesia to volunteer with community development about one year after the big tsunami in 2006.
I fully believe smiles are contagious and do my best to infect everyone around me. I like helping people and doing what I can to make a difference in my friends lives. I believe in giving everyone at least one chance, and usually second chances. I do not form opinions about people until I have had a chance to meet and get to know them myself. Honesty is an important value of mine and I only expect people to be as honest as I am with them.
Living in Alaska, it has proven difficult to meet guys with similar interests in me. I have never been hunting, fishing, skiing or snowboarding. IРІР‚в„ўm not opposed to these activities but they have just never been something that caught my attention enough to want to do them on my own.
I am essentially a dork. I do enjoy computers and video games, watching movies and TV, and going for walks with my adorable 7 month old Golden Retriever. I work as a customer service rep at a local utility company (though the office I work at is in Anchorage and I live in the Butte so I do commute).
I also have recently begun working out at the Alaska Club in an attempt to have a healthier life. I will admit I am not what most people would describe as “gorgeous” or “beautiful.” I could stand to lose some weight (a current goal of mine) and when choosing my wardrobe, I usually go with comfort over fashion. I don’t wear, or own for that matter, any make up and my idea of “doing my hair” is putting it up in a pony-tail.
I am looking for someone that would like to get to know me as much as I would like to get to know him. Someone that is comfortable with being himself and comfortable with me just being me. I have tried meeting guys the “old fashion” way but haven’t had much luck so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give the dating site thing a try. I hate making plans because I am perpetually late. Spontaneity is so much more fun anyways. A few things I love to do are ride my motorcycle (a green kawasaki ninja, only a 250 but its my first bike), fishing, camping, reading, traveling, hiking . If you can't tell from my photos I love adventures, Hatcher Pass is one of my favorite spots, but I try to get around to some of the other ones too. I like going out sometimes, but also love the nights in. I love to cook, and cleaning is therapy for me when I'm upset.
I recently got into playing tennis, I suck at it but with practice I will get better :D I don't plan on moving out of the valley so, for me its Palmer/Wasilla or nowhere because I hate Anchorage, its good for going out for a couple drinks or to a hockey game or walking trail but other than that I dislike it with a passion and refuse to live there :)

I like to stay busy and put in a lot of extra hours at work. I also just bought a house and I'm finishing a master's degree, so I'm a big fan of lazy weekends hanging out around the house and getting together with friends. What ever happened to good old fashioned game nights anyway?

I figured I should update this so here I go. I was born and rises in Alaska and truly love it here. Grew up in SE alaska and from that I'm not the biggest fan of rain. I love the nature and beauty this state has to offer and plan on traveling all of it someday. Sarcasm is my friend and how I make it though most days. Life is to short to hate it and live a frumpy life. I always look on the brighter side of things or at least try too. I just have to remember it can always be worse.
