I graduated from Auburn University and love my school. I am an avid sports fan and follow the Braves and Falcons religiously. Recently, I have become a runner and average about 20-30 miles a week depending on my schedule. It has lead me to different lifestyle and one that I am glad to be doing. My family and friends are very important to me. Growing up the youngest child, my brother and sister were significantly older thane, I grew very close to my friends and is something I still do today. I have a dog, Angus, who is a Sheltie. He is a crazy dog, but extremely intelligent.
My job is one that will take me away from life for parts of the year. I am a band director and basically my life has to revolve around building my program. I reference it to a college football coach. If you are not building you are dying. As a result, my days are usually jam packed with rehearsal, recruiting, budgeting, planning, phone calls, emails, and the list goes on and on. I love it, but it is a very involved career path.
I am currently working on my Master of Education and hope to be done with that next summer. I am training for the Mercedes Marathon in February of 2013, and hope to accomplish a bucket list event by completing it.
