Ok, to keep this “real”, here are some quirks, pet peeves, habitual things, you know,…more personalized stuff about me. I will categorize these areas, and add to them as time passes.
AROUND THE HOUSE /Apt kind of stuff: Attire - I’m comfortable forever in shorts, jeans, cut off t-shirts, and flip flops. Makes me feel like I’m always on vacation in the tropics! Whether I’m living in Nome, Alaska or Miami, Florida, so let’s turn the heat up. I think it is so LAME for people to have to bundle up in bulky clothing just to save a buck in their own homes, where it is supposed to be comfortable. Besides, gas is our most economical and plentiful resource, let’s use the heck out of it.
I enjoy and like QUIET IN THE EARLY MORNINGS (shhhhhhhhh) . I guess I’m a slow waker upper and start the day kind of guy. A pot of �Ole Joe’ and a newspaper read on the porch after numerous baby steps through the dimly lit house is always a good thing (maybe it’s my hangovers??!?). I can’t even imagine how nice it would be to be in view of the ocean and be able to wake up to the sight and sound of waves crashing in during a morning coffee. Only for the rich and shameless.
I enjoy and don’t mind helping with the dinner and dishes, taking out the trash, vacuuming the whole house (good for the abs), and even washing and detailing my GIRLFRIENDS CAR. And, no I’m not gay. I don’t have a garage, but some day I want to be one of those handy Tool Time guys in the garage whenever you need some space and time to yourself. I’ll be building/createing something ingenious with my hands.
My HAPPY PLACES: The Mall Baby !!, the beach, pools, lakes, fresh water rivers, on a boat, theme parks, sports bars and movie theaters. I’m probably the only man alive who actually likes going shopping at the mall with a woman. I find it …….. kind of fascinating how women always seem to find the best bargains on clothing and stuff that makes them look and feel sexy. No, I’m not gay. And don’t worry, I won’t hover. I’ll be 2 stores down at Radio Shack for whenever you need my opinion on whether or not what you’re buying to wear turns me on or not.
SPORTS: I PLAY THEM, I DON’T WATCH THEM. What an incredible waste of our precious limited time on this earth, sitting on couches getting fat watching others play their hearts out in THEIR favorite sport, getting obscenely rich on your time and money. I just don’t get it. But it’s Ok if my girlfriend wants to watch sports. I’ll do my best to distract her towards, and in favor of another “sports like activity” in another area of the house.
I coach and play Mens & Coed Softball on Edwards AFB. It’s brutally competitive, so we don’t get many girl players who are into that. Also I played competitive tennis through High School and college, was a Life Guard for 10 years from age 15 to 25 as a second job, so I am forever a mileage swimmer. Open Water Scuba Diver certified PADI. I am a tanning enthusiast, so I’m always ready with a “RIGHTEOUS TAN’’ for the water anywhere, anytime !! Put on something skimpy and lets GO !
