My friends and colleagues would likely bring up my sense of humor first. And even though I’m not in a 12 step recovery program, I think we can all live by their tenets such as “One day at a time” and “Easy does it.” I think just about everything in life comes down to “letting go” when you really think about it.
Music makes me really happy…...singing it, playing it, listening to it. Blues or blue grass, classical or folk, Motown, or surf music……I’m right there.
I divorced in 1997, but stayed friends with my ex who passed away in 2007.
I work pretty hard and am in the mental health field. Keep my own sanity by talking with friends, getting exercise, and singing with a choir. I love dogs and usually have had one, but donРІР‚в„ўt right now.
Friends suggested the online thing, so I decided to be open to it. I am blessed with good health and I am trim. I stopped dying my hair about 1 and 1/2 yr. ago and am “embracing” the silver thing. Trying for the Emmy Lou Harris look but not quite there yet!

I appreciate someone who has learned how to “roll with the punches” when life’s challenges come along as they always do. The analogy would be traveling to your destination and they just don’t have your reservation. You take a breath, and look for other arrangements. Maybe the alternative turns out to be better!
