Really, in today's society, how many people actually take the time to get to know someone?? I'm a very unique individual. In so many ways, far from that of your typical guy. I often let my actions speak for me. I have several mottos that I live by. My biggest of them all, "action speaks louder than words"! It's really amazing how much people can talk a good talk, but don't really do as they say. Practice what you preach, it what I usually say. I'm currently working on writing a book. It's a long process, but I'm in no hurry. I work on it a little bit here and there. It's not my actual profession or what I do for a living, but I do enjoy expressing myself in wich ever way I can. Figuring out a title for my book to be was the easy part, "Relationships 101, Boy Meets Girl". It's mostly based on a story of two individuals coming from two very different backgrounds and traditions. It's having to break it all down into chapters is where it becomes a challenge.
If there's one thing about me most people figure out right from the start, is that I do talk a lot! Hahaha..I can't help it. I just like making conversation. I like hearing what people have to say and go from there. It's something I grew into really. I wasn't always so darn talkative. I was very shy growing up, well I don't know about "very" but I was shy nonetheless. I'm glad to have grown out of it. It's rather very helpful and convenient when meeting people. However, I don't talk just to talk. When I speak, people listen! (or atleast I think they do)....haha, I do have something to say, for the most part. I don't just talk because I have a mouth.....
Ok, quick story time......About a year ago, I went rock climbing, fell from about 12-15 feet down where my left ankle met the hard and unforgiving surface! Since then I've acquired a new lease on life for exercising. It's takin' me sometime to recuperate. This is where my newly found passion for mountain biking came into play. I love jogging, nothing like taking in a long jog in the morning while everyone is still under the sheets, or mid-day afternoon, or in the evening jogging right down the never-ending beach shoreline adjacent to the ocean waves crashing at my feet....mmmmm, the memories...I just love jogging! Well, I still haven't been able to, but I'm that much closer with the strengthening in my ankle from mountain biking. (but by no means is mountain biking a walk in the park! It is a serious workout, far greater than jogging, no kidding!!) How awesome would it be to have you join me up the mountain! I also purchased the 'P90X' program/package in anticipation for when my ankle finally gives way for it! I'm very eager to get that going!! But, as my doctor says, one step at a time, or else!! (I've had a taste of 'or else', not cool...so I'm listening this time. But arrggh! Uggh!! The agony of anticipation is killing me! Oh, by the way, did I mention I like to talk!!??
A little side note: I firmly believe in that good looks can get just about anyone's attention, but its through one's personality that should grab your interest! Being attracted to someone's physical attributes is one thing, but being attracted to a someone's PERSONALITY is and should be the foundation to any relationship.......
If I were to describe my ideal match, I'd have to start on a whole other book! But so as to not complicate things, I would like to make this portion of this profile simple and easy....she would have to wow me with her smile and personality...that's it! You don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, although that's always a bonus, and you don't have to be someone you're not! Simple, easy, sincere and a boat loads of fun to be with! I love comedy too so that would be a major plus if you have a great sense of humour... Basically, I want what everyone else wants, happiness.....
