Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Winter Park, 58 year old

Date single man from Winter Park, United States. I love the mountains, snow skiing, and my accordion. Am looking for an active, youthful, cheerful woman -- a woman who delights the heart of God, who delights my heart as well, has a beautiful smile, who makes me smile, and has inner beauty that exceeds whatever external beauty God has given her, a woman to love, cherish, laugh with, and hold hands with forever.
I am active and athletic, with a good sense of humor.
Four things that friends say about me:
1. Intelligent
2. Affectionate
3. Caring
4. Good listener
Three of my best life skills:
1. Keeping physically fit
2. Using humor to make friends laugh
3. Achieving personal goals
I work from wherever I am -- via internet, part time, have lots of free time – practice my accordion (Broadway hits, polkas, ragtime, oldies), read the Hebrew Bible every morning (yes, in Hebrew), bicycle, writing a novel, travel a lot for fun.
A goal that I am getting close to achieving is to permanently live in the mountains again. I love Summit County, CO -- 360 degree view of majestic mountains surrounding Lake Dillon, and I love Tahoe. For now I have a timeshare in Winter Park where I stay for weeks/months at a time. When I leave for a while, they say I am going to Texas "on vacation".
Skied 100 days last year ('10-'11) and 111 days this year ('11-'12) -- half in CO, half in Tahoe. I love moguls, am learning to monoski, and love "ski dancing" on short skis. Am looking for a "ski dance" partner - that is SO cool! Have skied the "Talons Challenge" at Beaver Creek. A woman who is active, adventurous, loves the mountains, loves to ski, and loves other athletic adventures would be a good match. I love the view of Lake Tahoe from Heavenly. Last summer I hiked to the top of Copper and WP/Mary Jane, rode a bicycle on bike paths along streams to/at Breck, Copper, Vail Pass, Winter Park -- warm in the mtns is nice for a change.
Five things I cannot live without:
1. the scriptures - they encourage me
2. the respect and affection of a woman
3. romance - candlelight, music, wine, dancing
4. my accordion - makes me happy
5. exercise - keeps me trim and fit
If you are a musician of some kind, or an extravert who likes to sing, where we could make music together, I would love it. I think of music as being the expression of a deep longing for the perfection that God created the world to be, and one day will be.
A book I read a couple years ago really touched me -- Dr. Laura's "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" (bestseller, 2004). The book was recommended to me by a woman who assures me that some women do "get it". Thank you Dr. Laura - a woman who understands me and pain I have felt. Dr. Laura explains that most men are decent creatures, easy to please, with simple desires - we live to make our woman happy and will "swim through shark-infested water to bring you lemonade", wanting merely your appreciation, approval, and affection. That would be me. Seems like what Dr. Laura urges women would go without saying, but just to let you know - what Dr. Laura says about how to treat a man/husband is a "must have" for me.
I am not perfect (and if you are, pleeease don't respond to my profile). But I am kind, gentle, can be silly and funny, but am also calm and reflective, intensely loyal, I apologize from the heart when I realize I have been hurtful and I forgive easily. If you have read about Myers Briggs personality types -- free online Myers Briggs personality tests have twice concluded that my personality type is ENFP. May explain why I like Meg Ryan, Sandra Bullock, Bill Cosby, and Robin Williams.
