At the end of the day Im happy if I was able to move forward, progress and SMILE during my time. For me that says everything. I believe that a persons overall nature matches or often exceeds their physical health. I am someone who loves to be entertained. Sometimes meaningless entertainment, but often balanced with exercise and cross training.
Goals for me would be to learn Portuguese(brazilian) fluently. I have many close Brazilian friends and I would love to be able to visit their homes and immerse myself in their culture. Rio is on my list for the end of 2012 or early 2013. Which brings me into my hobby. 8 years ago I was introduced into something that changed the way I look at everything. My "gamechanger" in life came was just a sport. That sport is brazilian jiu-jitsu. I could go on and on and on about this. But to say Im a better person, and a more goal oriented driven person today, is an understatement. Its my first and last thought daily.
That being said, my match needs to care for herself. Selfworth is sexy. Relationships are about building blocks and if you cant respect yourself and your health, I think it would be hard for you to manage. Ideally I would like a girl to have an interest in a sport, fitness, even if for only half the year.

A bit of background on me: Originally from western Canada, I came to the USA for my first engineering job after graduating (~3 yrs ago). Since then it has been a great experience learning more about the States and making some great friends. I started off in the Arizona desert and made my way to the Colorado Rockies. I was glad to make the transition from playing in the open desert to playing in the snow.

I'm looking for 50/50. after what i've been through, you can have 80%, and i'll probably be ok somehow. lol. I'm old school, I like to take care of things, people. I don't look down on much except maybe absolute stupidity or cluelessness.
