I was raised around horses and hunting and grew up doing what country kids do,hunting fishing 4x4 riding horses racing bikes and motor cycles and spent many years on the ski team in Crested Butte. I am born and raised in Hawaii and lived there throughout High School. All my immediate family still lives in Hawaii. I moved to Gunnison to attend college. I like this small town lifestyle. Anyone that says there's nothing to do in Gunnison is dead wrong.
I enjoy the outdoors and my favorite activity is a leisurely float down the river while wetting a lure or fly or a multi-day trip down a desolate desert canyon corridor. I tend to gravitate to water. Rafting, and fishing is how I would like to spend most of my free time. I have regular social outings including a Supper Club (weekly food, drink, and fun with great friends) and a pub trivia night (weekly as well). Other than that I try to attend live music, community events, and get roped in to volunteering with many different community organizations quite often.
