Meet a soulmate from Franktown, United States. I've done OK in life, and am now semi-retired. Perhaps I should be completely retired, but I still like helping clients. I live with my cat in the boondocks south of the Denver metro area. I live among the ponderosa pines, scrub oak, yucca plants, cactus, deer, bob cats, bull snakes, hoot owls, coyotes and more. It's the home I've wanted to live in since I moved to Colorado in '87.
I'm looking for someone to have fun with - playing in the mountains, seeing movies, taking trips, going to Avs games, cooking, going to bars and clubs, hanging out and watching TV or DVDs, and probably more that I can't think of right now. And BTW, I like to do it with one lady at a time. My internal workings don't allow me to lock into multiple women at the same time.
Words that describe me are: perceptive but not a good people-reader, realistic, pragmatic, a thinker, brave, able to cope, receptive, compassionate, informal, reliable, able to talk to just about anybody, anytime, anywhere. I am compassionate - even empathetic at times - but have been told I could be more passionate.
What kind of lady seems to enjoy hanging out with me? She's smart. Someone that knows what she knows and what she wants to know - knows when to call BS, and how to figure out a problem. This all comes wrapped in a beautiful package - at least in my eyes. She is ready to laugh at my jokes (laughing not required - groaning and rolling eyes are OK too). She has a quick smile, inquisitive eyes, and likes to enjoy this short life we have. Finally, I seem to get along better with women younger than I. I have some ideas about why that is, and we can talk about it.
Oh, and if you like to travel, let's go! I've visited six continents, and am far from done with my travels. I lived in Italy for a couple of years, and go back every couple of years. I'm game for most of Europe, am overdue for another dive trip to Australia, or maybe Indonesia this time. I still need to go to lots of new places.

I have a deep belly laugh and smile broadly most of the time. Both seem to make others feel good too so I can not refuse to share. I accept this as part of my job at work to decrease stress and tension.
I grew up moving state to state which shaped my personality. Then moved on to a stable way of life in the Air Force. Hmm… To survive most are shy or outgoing. I’m not shy. I have a broad set of experiences having been in 49 states and being exposed to a multitude of experiences. I learned to see life from a lot of different view points. Will you share yours?
I’m gifted with the creativity and the ability to create with my hands. When sitting on a porch with friends discussing our next projects my friends told me my difficulty would be to decide what I would not do so that I would have time for what was left. This thought was a revelation to me. My creativity extends to designing and building a home, making the light fixtures, building custom street rods, ceramics, building and refinishing furniture, metal art work, wood work and so on. I don’t consider myself an artist, but I think of myself as a craftsman.
I like the unique. I also have an unusual curiosity. The two together make up my strange sense of humor. Sometimes it takes too much thought to understand. Then I really shock people with straight forward humor. I collect unusual things that spark thoughts too.
I’m educated, but humbled and in awe of what people have learned and the challenges they overcome to get where they are. If we stop and truly open up our senses there is so much we can learn. Oh by the way don’t expect me to be perfect at this.
I never had children, but I’m part of the lives of 5 nieces and a nephew and now their family’s. My house is designed around them when they visit and family gatherings. I decided I have been too far away and want to be part of the great nieces and nephews childhood. They consider me big brother, uncle, grandparent, second dad and friend. I like them all. I will welcome yours too. My friends say that I would have made a great parent.
I’ve been called a gentle bear. I’m a large strong person with a gentle touch and a soft heart. I tend to give bear hugs too. I care for those around me and am protective. I trust up front, loyal to a fault and open about my life. Acceptance of where I am allows me to change and grow – a continual process, but what a journey.
What am I looking for? I want a little girl, lady, tomboy, woman who makes me smile at the thought of her, stop and watch with joy at the quirky things she does, whose touch is warmer than the sun on my skin and her smile tells me all will be ok. MmmmmMm Yep chemistry. Ok once chemistry then I’m looking for you to be expressive and strong enough to share your view point. I want you to show me the colors that I don’t see in things. Well, this seems like fun! Getting to talk about me and to try and paint an accurate picture in a limited amount of words. This will, at the very least, provide great conversation upon meeting. I’ll give it a shot and, being from the East Coast, you can be pretty certain that it will be honest, forthright and direct or it would probably be too obvious if I was lying anyway.
I’m a very active and positive person who has made it a point to do a lot of different things, in a lot of different ways and in a lot of different places. I’m an ex college athlete and have been professionally successful for a number of years in some very competitive and risky businesses. I’ve owned my own business previously as well but mostly held executive positions in sales, marketing and operations. I say this only because it probably gives some insight into my personality in that I love challenges and the ability to creatively provide solutions in life and work. I am a great partner in many ways. Proudly, I’m also a great dad because I care deeply about those close to me and try to provide many opportunities for fun, learning and adventure.
Maybe most importantly, I’m a lifelong learner with a never-ending thirst for knowledge and understanding which makes me interested in a lot of different things. I love to laugh, explore, make mistakes, have fun, discover things and exercise, however less these days, focused mostly on tennis and things you do on big mountains. Love restaurants, movies, music (many, many concerts), some mindless TV, and most sporting events especially hockey live. I truly enjoy any/all live performances as I have a great appreciation for people who perform successfully in real time.
Basically, I’m a pretty cool guy (ask my daughter??) who has been successful and tries to get better every day while always trying to do the right thing (though it may not turn out that way!). Many things amaze me and I appreciate a lot. Maybe that can include a new partner? I suppose I should also mention I'm from New Jersey, so be forewarned!
A great co-pilot for a new life adventure can be a lot of different of things but I certainly would really appreciate someone who is positive and enthusiastic, cares deeply, is affectionate and sexy (to me), who tries hard, who makes things happen, who is competitive, and who likes sports and all types of entertainment...and can be a bit spontaneous. And guess what? As much as I do and say, it would be great to really enjoy hanging out oftentimes just eating, drinking and being merry. Nobody's perfect in my world so your individuality would be awesome!
I’ve been separated for a very long time out of convenience for all (finalizing, no issues, not a concern), but ready now to move on permanently with a really awesome girl who wants to figure things out together and have a whole helluva lot of fun and adventure along the way.
