Recent Update: I apologize, if you were trying to contact me. I had to fly to Texas to help my parents with their business. My father is 78 now, and Mom is 70. I was there for a couple of months, total. It felt like so much longer, but it had to be done. I am SO glad to be back. I love Colorado.

Integrity, character, chivalry, hospitality and humility are traits I value most from my closest friends. I have a taste for fine dining, a slow country boil, and have propensity to slightly alter a recipe to make it better Don't worry a great wine or a tasty micro brew will mask any flaws. Some of my favorite apps...Maps on IP although I'm not afraid to ask directions, Hipmunk for finding flights, Drudge for keeping current on the news, and Shazam for grabbing a great song...it has definitely expanded my music library.

There's a lot more to experience both near and far to share. I want to see all 50 states and I need 12 more (mostly in the Northeast). I also want to add other countries to my list of experience and I'm thinking Ireland, Australia, or Italy next. Meanwhile, since I split my time working in Denver and Colorado Springs, I love finding new places to eat and listen to live music, or hitting the slopes on the weekend (mostly, Keystone, Breck, or A Basin).

Here’s the scoop. Like many of you I’m just done with the same old shallow profiles that people put up here that try to make themselves look good. The fact is none of us are perfect—and life is hard sometimes-- but hopefully we can find someone who we are perfect with. Someone who has the ability to actually �see’ who we are and yet still love us unconditionally and actually want to be with us most of the time.
I’m someone who likes to be direct and I don't lie about who I am and what I’m looking for. Very recently we had to place my elderly dad in a home as it got too difficult for my mom to take care of him. Talk about a reality check!
Hey, we’re all gonna get old someday and hopefully we’ll all have someone who loves us and means what they say when they say they will stay with you through better or for worse—even in your late years. My parents are in their mid 80’s and for the last 10 years my mom has taken care of my dad at home since his stroke debilitated him. It concerns me that in today’s society we would be very hard pressed to find someone of that quality of character and commitment. These days most everyone you meet is looking for the hottest guy/girl to boost their ego and their sense of self worth. While I acknowledge that there has to be physical attraction—and I’ve dated some beautiful women—looks and prestige aren’t what’s going to make a happy and healthy marriage/relationship.
At this point in my life I’m in a healthier and happier place and more ready place for a serious relationship/marriage than I’ve ever been.
What are my most notable traits? In short, I’m very driven as far as reaching goals, my friends have many times told me I’m the hardest working guy they know(and yet I’m not a work-a-holic, just very focused), I’m extremely loyal to my family/friends/woman I’m dating, I love the outdoors and endurance events, I love to laugh and have the orneriest sense of humor and a quick wit, and finally while I don’t categorize myself as �religious’—my faith and relationship with Jesus is very important to me. I have walked with Him most of my life and have even been on the mission field for a short while. That doesn’t mean I don’t know how to have fun! I’m very well balanced in regards to my faith and also knowing who I am and where I stand as an imperfect human and have healthy views on this.
I’m also considered my many to be very generous and I sincerely like making people that are important to me happy without looking for anything in return—except for respect and gratitude. My kindness has been taken advantage of many times and I don’t tolerate that anymore.
So, in short, that’s the �deal.’ I’m sincerely looking for my last first date. I'm looking for someone who is genuinely looking for another person who knows how to love and how to give and who themselves know how to love in return. I have no ulterior motives or hidden agendas what-so-ever. I'm looking for that person I can fully trust and that she knows without a doubt she can trust me. I keep pretty busy throughout the week but I definitely make it a point to enjoy my downtime. I enjoy dining (grilling or ordering pizza)in & out: I love Italian (Luigis/Roccos), Mexican (Salsa Brava), & American food (too many to name). I work out at my office and at Bally's and while indoor workouts are nice, I love getting out on my mountain bike or just going for a walk. I have a travel bug & frequently visit Denver, Vail (especially during the 4th of July - one of the best firework shows I've seen), and Vegas (that is where I'm heading during the 1st week of June). I typically stay at the Mirage because of the pool area (If you have not been ... you are missing out - so tropical & peaceful). I am a manager at a financial services company; the pay & benefits are great but so are the people I work with. I have an IPOD with my music & it comes with earbuds so .... that's that. My goals have pretty much been achieved (career / financial). I am getting my son through school and would love for him to attend college. He says he wants to work at my company .. how cute is that. I'm unique in that I have 4 legs like that guy in the Old Spice commercial... no, just kidding... my friends / family would describe me as driven, intelligent, and very very funny,,,,, and probably someone who would never join this dating site... yeah, they would actually say that. It's why I keep secrets.

So you can tell I am not afraid of commitment - ha ha. I do have two children ages 11 and 14. I am very involved with my children and love them very much. They are the joy of my life and the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have their permission to start dating, yes I needed to make sure it was alright with them first, and thought this would be a great place to find that someone special.
I will try to describe myself but it is always hard to talk about yourself. If you asked my friends they would tell you that I am always joking around. I never take anything to serious and always find humor in everything I do. I have a very optimistic attitude and like to find the silver lining in everything. I work in a building with no windows so when I am away from work I enjoy being outside as much as possible. Here is a list of things I like to do:
• MTN Biking/Snow skiing
• Cross Country Skiing
• Hiking/Climbing 14tnrs – I haven’t climbed a 14tnr in awhile as you can tell from my pictures but would love to start again
• Jogging – jogging not running, I am pretty slow
• Traveling –any place with a beach I have been all over the Caribbean, Hawaii several times, and several times to Mexico, and any other traveling, would like to try some adventure traveling
• MTN Biking/Snow skiing (oh did I say that already ha ha)
• Golfing – I am not very good in fact I am closer to par if you count how many balls I lose per game
• Riding my Harley – yes I own a Harley, but if you look at me I do not look like the Harley type
• MTN Biking/ Snow skiing (yes I really love both mtn biking and snow skiing, they are my favorite things to do)
• Incline – I try to do the incline every Sunday morning if I am in town, yes I am a glutton for punishment
• Going to watch sports – Broncos, Rockies, CC Hockey, AF football, Sky Sox
As you can tell I love to do anything outside especially if it is some sort of sport. I also do like to stay in and have fun too:
• Love staying home and watching a movie especially when it’s raining or snowing out and get to cuddle with someone special
• Going out to the movies
• Going to romantic restaurants
• Watching football – I love to watch both college and pro football
• Going to Brew Pubs – I love a good dark beer
The number one thing I like to do is be with my kids.
As far as religion goes I am a Christian and went to church regularly when I was younger, but I do not attend church regularly anymore. I have been what is called a C @ E Christian, I attend church on Christmas and Easter. I believe God created nature and I would rather be there then in a brick and mortar building.
Anyway these are a few of the things I like to do. I really like to stay busy and just going out and having fun. I am looking for a companion to enjoy some of these things and anything else you may like to do as well. I am very adventurous and will try most anything once, within reason of course, or maybe not!
