I was married to the same woman 15 years and have a wonderful daughter that means the world to me. I am a bold and outspoken person and sometimes a bit to blunt. I believe that strong, open and honest communication is essential for any relationship. I am very honest, open and trustworthy and expect the same from others. I am by no means a choir boy and have just a touch of a bad boy side to me. I am Impulsive and spontaneous, like i might wake up at three in the morning and decide to go for a ride on my motorcycle in the country or for a walk in the park. I have had dogs all my life, there are many people who would love to be treated as good as my dogs are. I like and appreciate all animals although I am not fond of spiders and snake, Lizards are cool, as long as somebody else owns them. I play the Congo drums and like all kinds of music except for rap and Screamo. I watch about all kinds of movies with horror being my least favorite and yes i have watched and actually enjoyed some so called chick flicks.
I am a Philosopher, Writer and Poet, plus I am a fountain of worthless knowledge, if you ever need to know how many windows are in the Empire State Building I happen to know that. I have been involved in Martial Arts since 1972 and practice every day, it has always been a huge part of my life.I grew up on a lake and of course love the outdoor stuff like hiking and boating and fishing. My friends call me the Great White Catfish Slayer, but I fish for anything that swims, especially on a hot summers night. I am a excellent cook and experiment with many types of cuisine, I am considered a grill master by many who have sampled my food and survived. I also enjoy photography, chess and star gazing. I have been accused of talking for an hour and never take a breath. I am a very compassionate person and the one everybody calls when problems arise. I always have been and always will be the type that would get out of bed in the middle of the night, just to try and help someone, maybe even put a smile on their face in times of trouble. I will go to anybody, anywhere, anytime, to offer words of comfort.
My adrenaline rush comes from chasing storms, I do not do heights so sky diving or jumping of of a bridge hanging by a piece of rubber is not in my plans for the near future. I do have a few flaws that I am willing to admit and maybe a couple I do not want to admit, but I am always working on improving the person I am.
I would say what I do on a typical night, but for me no night is typical so i may be doing anything from going out dancing to building a bond fire in my backyard and listening to music and on rare occasion just veg out in front of the TV. As for sports I enjoy watching Soccer and Collage Basketball and like go to the stock car races especially night time races. I am a touch of a shopaholic and enjoy going to flea markets, picking antques and shopping at places that have unique things. I also enjoy going to museums and various forms of art shows. I am a man of many interests and always seeking new things to explore.
