Become a boat captain (ok, I've got the license... now I just need to find someone who'll let me use it).

I'm pretty basic. I'm college educated and work in an office, and I try to be a pretty good person by practicing the golden rule. I'm pretty funny in a sarcastic way sometimes, insightful other times and just slapstick stupid other times. Depends on my mood. I take a certain amount of pride in being a deep thinker, and I read books and follow current events, but sometimes if people take things too seriously I just have to laugh at them. Still, I have a knack for finding the good in almost anyone, which by the way is much different from mistaking bad qualities for good qualities. Sometimes the bad just overshadows the good, and that's why some people just can't be my friend.
What I want to do is go with someone to movies and concerts, take trips near and far, and of course get up on the mountain. If you don't ski or snowboard, I'll teach you if you want. If that doesn't interest you, that's no problem as long as you don't mind me getting up there now and then. But really, doing that and watching football with my friends and playing cards and whatnot are fun, but nothing is ever too important for me to skip for someone I care about, except for my job, but we all gotta do what we gotta do, right? I'm pretty comfortable just hanging out, too, and I like watching DVDs at home, but I'd always rather be doing new things or being with someone when they're trying or seeing something for the first time.
